After half a day of working in the studio I was excited to pick up Mickey for another visit to his now favorite dog park! I knock on the large wooden apartment door in front of me. Waving to the peep hole as I hear some mumbled curses from the otherside of the door that opens to reveal my sister "Noona!"
"Hoseok? What are you doing here? Again?" She asks me but waves me through the door.
"Yup. Is Mickey ready? I wanna hangout with him," I take off my face mask and call out "Mickey, come here buddy."
A fluffy little head peeks over the white couch as I call his name. I see the confusion forming but he quickly leaps into my arms when I step closer. "Why are you here?" she asks as she brushes her hair up into a high pony tale.
"I wanna take my favorite pup on a walk."
"You are avoiding the question."
"I had some extra time today.
"Extra time? You are 1/7th of BTS. You haven't had this much 'extra time' in years," she slips on an expensive watch. "You have spent more time with him then you have me or our family all year."
"Not true!"
"You've visited once a week for the past 4 weeks. I only asked you to dog sit him that one day," she walks into her bedroom down the hall, but quickly returns with a simple beige cardigan that she begins tying around her shoulders. "What's going on, Hoseok?"
I've been avoiding telling anyone about Haneul. It was easy to make an excuse to Jimin but avoiding Jiwoo's prodding might be hard. "Nothing just a man and his dog bonding."
She pauses and squints suspiciously at me. I avoid her eyes and play with Mickey's fur, enjoying the softness of it and the slobbery licks he gives me. "I know something is going on but I don't have the time today to question it," she says.
I look her up and down. She's wearing a white long sleeved blouse and a beige pencil skirt. She looked super classy. "So where are you going? You look nice."
"A meeting that came up last minute so it's a good thing you came over actually, but i'm still suspicious of you! I will get the truth out of you." She waves 2 fingers between me and her eyes then walks to the door and slips on some beige colored heels "You know where his stuff is. I gotta go but remember to lock up before you leave and text me when you are on your way back with him."
I smile widley at her ignoring her prying threat "Good luck at the meeting!" I hold Mickey's paw and wave it at her, raising the pitch of my voice "Bye bye!"
With a playful glare she leaves the apartment.
I collect his louis vitton leash and doggy bag from his designated closet. Also slipping on him a cute yellow bunny sweater "You ready bud?"

With Mickey all dressed up we walked through the gate of "Halmeoni's Garden." I look around at the lovely flowers strolling from plot to plot deeper into the park. Mickey gets antsy and sqirms in my arms "Fine, fine, go play." I place him down and he immediately runs off disappearing behind tall sunflowers.
