Hey guys! Here's the second chapter! Tell me what you think of it in the comments!
When Hermione, Ginny, and Harry stepped out of the Weasley's chimney, Mrs. Weasely was furious. "How dare you come here, you cheating little bitch! Get out of my house!" Mrs. Weasley screamed when she saw Hermione. "Mrs. Weasley, please, just listen- " Hermione was cut off. "Listen?! Get OUT!" Mrs. Weasley screeched. "Mum, please! Just listen! Hermione didn't cheat on Ron. Ron cheated on Hermione. I was there! I saw it!" Ginny said. "What?" Mrs. Weasley asked, sobering down a little. "It's true, Mrs. Weasley. Ron cheated on Hermione with Lavender Brown," Harry said, nodding. "Where's your proof?" Ron said, coming out of the living room. If anything, Ron was a very good actor. He looked like a wreck and was sniffling. Harry and Hermione had to hold Ginny back from launching at Ron and murdering him. "You want proof? Okay, we'll give you proof," Hermione said, before getting her wand out and keeping it to her temple. She got out a memory and it lay there, floating in mid-air. "We don't have a Pensieve, you cheating bitch," Ron snarled. Hermione had to take a deep breath before smiling sweetly and said, "Who says we need a Pensieve to see a memory," Hermione waved her wand and said, "castus memory." Immediately, the memory cast itself in the air, forming a rectangular window, and started playing. By now, all the Weasleys had come out. There was Arthur, Molly, George, Ron, Ginny, Bill, Fleur, Hermione, Harry, and Ron all crowded in front of the chimney.
All of them except Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Ginny gasped when they saw Ron on top of Lavender Brown. When they reached the end, everyone was speechless. "This is all bull shit! You altered your memories!" Ron said. "Is that so? Then should we see Ginny's memory?" Harry asked in a deadly calm voice. "No, she would have changed it too," Ron said. "Fine, Ronald. Let's get the memories of the one you cheated with, shall we?" Hermione said, before pulling out her wand. "What- " Ginny started, before being interrupted by Bill, "She's going to use the once-in-a-lifetime summoning charm, aren't you?" Bill referred the latter part to Hermione. "Yes...Now everyone step back," Hermione said. Ron gulped. He knew Lavender isn't smart enough to alter her memories. So he did the only thing he could think of. He tried to leave quietly, to run away, but George, who hadn't believed Ron even before Hermione showed them the memory, knew that Ron was going to make a run for it. So, he put a charm on the door that made sure that it wouldn't open, even to Alohamora or Bombarda. His efforts were rewarded when an alarm rang, signaling that someone was trying to get out.
He caught Ron and brought him back. "Now now, where do you think you are going?" George asked. "Ron? Why were you trying to escape? Is it because Hermione is telling the truth?" Mrs. Weasley asked, suddenly worried that Hermione was telling the truth. She was actually starting to believe her as she seemed so confident, even willing to use a summoning charm to bring Lavender Brown to The Burrow. "He won't give in, Mrs. Weasley. I'll just summon Lavender, and you can see for yourself," Hermione said, before muttering, Summonus Lavender Brown.
Ron's eyes nearly popped out as Lavender appeared in front of them, naked and drenched. All the men looked away at once. "What the fuck is this? How did I come here?" Lavender asked, very confused. Hermione smiled a sickly sweet smile at her saying, "Hi there, Lavender! Let's get you dressed, shall we?" And with a wave of her wand, Lavender was dry and had a clean set of clothes on her. "Okay, she's decent now," Hermione said, and everyone looked at Lavender at once. "What is the meaning of this?" Lavender asked again. "Incarcerous," Hermione said, and immediately Lavender was bound tightly. "I'll make this easy for you, Lavender. You can either tell the truth, or I'll have to use legilimency to get the memories," Hermione said. "What the fuck do you want?" Lavender screeched. "Have you been having an affair with my ex-fiance Ronald Weasley or not?" Hermione asked. Lavender looked at Ron who shook his head slightly. She understood, and said, "No, I have not."
Hermione sighed. "Alright, let's do this the hard way," the brunette said, keeping her wand to the blond's temple. "Legilimens," Hermione said and rifled through Lavender's memories. Lavender screamed. The pain was too much. At last, Hermione found what she was looking for. She pulled out of Lavender's head and brought the memories out with her. Lavender lay panting on the ground as Hermione cast the memory into the air. They all saw what happened in the room between Ronald Weasley and Lavender Brown. Then they saw Hermione and Ginny bursting in and the confrontation. By the end, all the Weasleys were fuming. They all pounced on Ron burying him and hitting him. Mrs. Weasley was screaming at Ronald and Ginny, Harry and Hermione just stood next to Lavender, satisfaction playing at their lips.
Finally, everyone calmed down. "Oh, and Ronald, you'll find that you weren't the only one she slept with," Hermione said, before dissaparating to her old home which she shared with Ron. She sat on the bed for a while, after warding the house and putting up anti-aparation spells. I have to leave, She thought. I have to get away from him, from this life. I have to start afresh somewhere else.
Hermione Granger then packed all the things she wanted, like all her books, the toaster, the coffee maker and put them all in her beaded bag and headed out. She went to Grimmauld Place, and left a note for Harry, saying that she formally resigns from her job at the Ministry and then a note for Ginny, and then left in search of an apartment and job.
