"I'm sorry...What?!" Hermione asked incredulously. "Oh! Nothing nothing. I'm sure my boyfriend is just asking if Draco was nice..." Pansy said quickly, giving Blaise a quick but effective glare. "Ohh...Yes, he was very nice. It was really weird actually," Hermione said, laughing. "Well, I'd better get home. I have my first day of work tomorrow," she said getting up. "Well, I'll see you around then," Pansy and Blaise said. "Bye!" Hermione said, before Dissapparating.

"OH MY GOD!" Hermione said aloud as she collapsed on the couch. Some day huh... She thought. Malfoy had been so nice to her and...Hell it was the weirdest thing in the world. Moreover, she felt as if she should be careful and mindful in his presence, but somehow, her brain didn't listen to her. She knew that he could be dangerous, but honestly, it just felt right to trust him. And Pansy...Well, she already poured her heart out to her new best friend, and it just made her feel better. She just hoped that this didn't backfire on her, but somehow she knew in her heart that it wouldn't. Her mind then wandered to her new job. At Malfoy Industries. A smug smile took over her face as she thought about how Ronald would react if he found out. The smile slowly turned into a chuckle, then into a full belly laugh as she thought about how his face would turn red and then purple, and then finally burst. After her meltdown at Pansy's house, Ronald's betrayal didn't feel that bad. Yes, she loved him. Hell, she wished she didn't, but she did. But the love and the pain behind the love were slowly fading and she was getting into a calmer state. Of course, she knew she would have another breakdown soon, but for now, she felt perfectly fine.

Hermione got up from the couch and made her way to her half-unpacked kitchen. She quickly flicked her wand and the rest of the things unpacked and found their way into shelves. She quickly started bustling about, grabbing pans and pots. She didn't have any vegetables or fruits, but she did have some oats. She quickly made herself a steaming bowl of porridge and plonked herself on the couch again. I need to get some groceries and stuff from the market today, She thought as she ate. She wondered what Harry and Ginny were doing right now. She hoped they weren't beating themselves up about her departure. She hoped they read the letters and hoped that they weren't too mad at her. She couldn't have said all that to their face. Not a chance. She had never been good at goodbyes. Especially since it was Harry and Ginny. She sat there, eating her porridge and lost in thought.

"Holy Shit!" Draco said as he made his way inside his house. "Woah! What's up?" Came a voice from his hall. Draco immediately swirled around, pulling out his wand. "Hey hey! Calm down! It's just me," Pansy said. Draco sighed with relief and put down his wand. "You gave me a bloody scare Pans!" he said glaring at her. "Hehe, I know," She said grinning. Draco rolled his eyes, taking off his jacket. "What's up?" The blond asked. "Hermione Granger," She replied casually. Draco's eyes snapped up immediately. "What about her?" he asked sharply. "We met today. Kinda became besties," she said. "Oh wow...Okay..." Draco said. "What? Not interested in the details?" Pansy asked, raising an eyebrow. Draco chuckled as he made his way to the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee. "Want a cup?" he asked. Pansy plonked herself on the couch. "Yep!" Draco came out after a few minutes, two cups of steaming coffee in his hands. "2 sugars, no milk for the lady," he said, presenting it as a waiter would to a princess. "Thank you, kind sir," Pansy said chuckling. "Don't think I don't know that this is all just buttering up to know all the details about Hermione," Pansy said, taking a sip of her coffee. Draco chuckled. "You know me too well, Pans. Anyways...Spill," the blond said.

"Fucking bastard!" Draco swore. "Yeah..." "How dare he! I'm gonna fucking kill him!" Draco said. "Yeah, I wanna do the same..." Pansy said. Draco sighed, "Poor Gran-Hermione...I just wish someone was here for her..." he said. "I was there for her today!" Pansy said, offended. "You know what I mean Pans...Someone she loves...Someone like Harry Potter or someone..." Draco said. "Well, they aren't here...We need to help her as much as possible. Go easy on her when she comes to work, Draco" Pansy said. "Yeah obviously..." "Well, I got to go! I promised Blaise I'll be quick," Pansy said getting up. "Yeah okay...Bye!" Draco said. "This could be your chance, you know..." the dark-haired girl said softly. Draco looked up at her. "We'll see..."

"Shit shit shit!" Hermione swore. She was supposed to be at Malfoy Industries 10min ago. Never before in her life had Hermione overslept. Not once. But she chose today, the first day at Draco Malfoy's company to be late. She quickly put on a red top with black stripes and a black skirt. She left her hair, put on some eye liner, mascara, and nude lipstick, and immediately Disapparated to the office.

"Good Morning! Sorry, I'm late!" Hermione said to Ava as she came in. "Oh, no problem at all! Here let me take you to your desk!" Ava said, smiling. Hermione got a good look at the place now.
