Cheers , footsteps , screams , laughs. that's what I'm hearing from the corner I'm sitting at .

I've never been a social person , the wizards I'm living with are mostly buisnees man , all they care about is money.

I only have my friend kimi who's an exceed , her fur's color is a light brown that suits her blue eyed ones , I found her 5 years ago in the forest unconscious .

She reminded me somehow of myself before Zoldyck found me , I knew that she doesn't remember her family or even her homeland , so I decided to keep her with me , and we became the closest friends ever.

Honestly , I was glad to have her by my side all this time , I didn't know what to do without her, she's the only source of happiness that I have in this world .

I see from the corner of my eyes Alma ,
The receptionist of the guild , heading our way I pretended to not notice her and shift my gaze toward the book in my Hands .

" Y/N darling , why are you all alone here ? You can go and play with the kids in the backyard" she says

" I don't want to play with them , they are all stupid , plus , I am not alone , kimi is with me and I don't need anyone at all " I protest without broking my gaze from the book .

"But-"
" I said I don't want to "
This time , I looked up and locked my gaze with hers.

Alma p.o.v :
I felt my whole body freeze when my eyes locked with hers , there were no emotions held in them . It sent shivers down my spine .

I didn't move an inch , my eyes were glued with y/n's e/c ones .

I snapped out of it when I heard someone calling my name

"Alma ! You have some clients ! I think they are looking for someone !"

" H-hai" I said releasing the breath that I've been holding .

I walked over to my office , I've turned to y/n one last time and I saw her reading her book once again . Well I guess that I can't do anything with this child .

I can't blame her after all , it most be hard to grow without her parents .

A sigh escape my lips before turning and making my way toward my office again.

3rd person p.o.v :
Alma made her way toward the office while y/n just kept reading her book.

kimi was sleeping peacefully next to her bestfriend , the little dragon slayer patted her friend's head while smiling slightly .

The girl's ears twitched while she heard Alma saying : "I'm sorry but Mr.jude had passed away a month ago, all my condolences"

She looked over to the person who she was talking to . she saw a blonde haired girl with brown chocolate eyes , standing next to her a boy with pink hair and a scarf. he smelled like, a dragon ?

The girl's eyes widened at the thought , could he be a dragon slayer ? a blue exceed apparead next to him too , so this is confirmed , this boy is a dragon slayer like y/n .

the dragon slayer eyes trailed to the girl again, the poor blondette seemed shocked and troubled, as her two companions just stared at her with pained expressions .

The women thanked Alma and left the guild with her two friends.

y/n felt pity for her , she already know how It feels to lose someone you love , and she was intrigued too by the salmon haired boy and his blue exceed, so she shoke kimi to wake up , and followed after the trio .

The last thing that the duo heard were the screams of Alma

" y/n ! Kimi ! Where are you going ??! Come back here !"

But of course , y/n ignored the older girl's screams and continued to make her way toward the three unknown persons , she had to know them
