Natsu and I stopped suddenly upon hearing multiple footsteps coming our way .

" there they are ! The jail breakers ! "

" the royal forces ?! " I clicked my tongue in annoyance .

" you're kidding..." Lucy muttered .

I sighed looking down and praying that she will be alright . I felt a hand placed on my shoulder . I look up to meet natsu's green eyes .

" we got this n/n ! " I nodded and got in a fighting stance , and so did the pink haired guy beside me .

" we'll take them here..." he started igniting his fist with flames "...and break through ! "

I landed a kick on a random guard's face , with natsu and loke attacking with me .

Another one was about to hit Wendy , she froze in her place , knowing that it was too late .

" screech of the earth Dragon ! " I managed to save her right in the nick of time . The younger girl blushed and bowed her head thanking me.

" stay sharp , use your senses to know where and when the enemy will strike " I advised her and she hummed loudly in return .

At the arena :
" has anyone seen the signal flare ? " erza asked the two males who instantly turned at her .

" no " laxus answered bluntly . He was this close to go and save y/n .
