This feeling was too familar for me . By the time , I got used to it . This cold chill surrounding my small body and hugging it almost clinging to me . there is no need to open my eyes since I can't see anything in the pitch dark anyway .
This only happen when I pass out .
Does that mean that I passed out ? Or was I killed ? I can't remember anything that happened earlier . It was like a wall in my mind blocking the memories to flow in .
I waited and waited for the agonizing screams , the blinding light , the female's voice . But none of this happened . I felt my hearbeat increase slowly from anxiousness .
Something felt wrong , the atmosphere this time was much colder , but not just that . I felt like something , or rather someone was there . I could feel a sinister dark presence that I can't see nor touch . And the worst that I couldn't speak because of the shadows that covered my whole body expect my eyes and hair .
" I see that you went out of control " a gentle masculine voice spoke out of nowhere .
I flinched internally . 'who's this ?'
I gulped when I felt the presence getting closer and stronger . Then , a hand started to caress my face .
" these shadows are getting in the way " and with a flick of fingers , the shadows all vanished . I fell on my knees , gasping for air .
I looked up . It was a black haired male with black eyes , his features were handsome and relaxed with a smile grazing his lips .
" now I can see you better " he chuckled .
" w-who are you ? " I said while standing up facing him .
" you can say...I'm the owner of that necklace that you were wearing "
My eyes widened in realization " y-you...zeref...? "
He nodded " indeed "
" what are you doing here ?! " I glared at him backing away .
" this is your subconscious , meaning that we're inside of your mind . I assume that you already knew that the necklace that you were wearing was no ordinary one . It was one of the artifacts that I personally created . And yet you took it . Obviously , dark magic reacts to negative emotions . That's why you lost control in the real world , making the dark magic transform you to a demon " he explained calmly .
