Hunting a Dragon

Jim looked up at Y/n while biting his lip. He could tell something was on her mind and wanted to help but was debating on wither or not to say something.

"War Hammer to Trollhunter, the package has arrived!" Toby whispered yelled into the walkie talkie, causing Jim and the other two to be more alert. Y/n jumped down quietly, with a little help from Blinky, and stood in between the two as they watched the delivery truck drive up to Eli's house. They watched as the delivery guy walked out while humming a tune, went to the back of the truck and opened it.

"Huh, I wonder if that's Eli's spy gear." Y/n said as the guy pulled out a package and dropped it, causing Y/n to groan as she rubbed her forehead. "Yup, that's it alright." Y/n said as the guy groaned a little and pock the package back up.

"Wait, how do you know this is Eli's house?" Jim asked Y/n, Y/n sighed and looked at him.

"What did you think I did while I avoided you and Toby?" Y/n asked with a blunt look. He was still confused as Y/n sighed and held up a piece of paper that she grabbed from her pocket. Jim took it, unfolded it and saw it was a paper for a character from Dungeons and Dragons game.

"Okay..." Jim said uncertainly and handed Y/n back the paper before looking at the guy who was checking to see if the package wasn't to broken. "Let's get him out of here before it's too late." Jim said as him and Y/n watched the delivery guy go up to Eli's house.

"Wait!" Blinky whispered yelled as he used the binoculars to look afar. "His fate may already be sealed." Blinky said as the street lights went out one by one. "They're here. Look!" Blinky whispered yelled as he handed the binoculars to the closet person which happened to be Y/n. She grabbed them and looked through them to see a goblin snap his fingers with familiar glowing red eyes not far behind.

"No, I'm not gonna let an innocent person---" Jim tried to say walk ahead but Blinky grabbed him, which caused Y/n to yelp quietly and land on the ground.

"Great trouble! There appears to be far more than I had anticipated." Blinky said into walkie talkie as Y/n tried to stand. "Stay down and don't make a sound." Blinky informed as Toby and Aaarrrgghh lowered themselves as well. "In their frenzied state, they'll attack any in their path." Blinky said, Y/n peered at the goblins and their eyes suddenly turned to yellow and she saw vivid outlines of their bodies.

"Huh, that's new." Y/n whispered to herself as she watched the goblins slowly walked closer to their destination. The others however watched as the driver walked into the house after Eli had opened it, probably to use the bathroom. Y/n then noticed that another light went out and that caused shivers to go down her spine as Jim stood.

"But that's Eli! He's in our class!" Jim pleaded as Blinky turned towards Jim and placed on hand on Jim's shoulders.

"He was in your class." Blinky corrected Jim. Y/n could only watch as the door to Eli's house was closed and so seemed his fate. Once the final light went out, several hidden goblins jumped out their spots and began their siege. Y/n balled her hands, knowing she was powerless at this time if she didn't use her dragon form.

"What the-" Y/n asked herself as she saw the goblins covering the truck and began to eat it with anger. Y/n blinked a bit and looked at Jim, who simply shrugged his shoulders to show he also had no idea. Not that he would since the whole goblin thing was new to him as well as Y/n.

"Unexpected. Their dispute isn't with the driver at all, but rather the transportation that had flattened their kinsman." Blinky informed Toby and Aaarrrgghh with the small communicator in his hand. "You must not be afraid, master Jim" Blinky said as he could sense Jim fear, grabbing Jim's shoulder in the process. He even smiled in hopes that Jim would feel less afraid. "Like Mistress Y/n." Blinky said as he used one of his free hands to gesture to Y/n who was standing next to the two, trying her best not to let Blinky hug her.

"But I thought the first rule of being the trollhunter was to always be afraid." Jim said as he looked at Blinky with an even more worried look. Y/n was watching the truck and saw the goblins had eaten over half of the truck, casing her to feel weak. If she wanted to be friends with Jim and Toby, she had to keep her dragon form a secret but she also didn't want to die as a teenager!

"Trolls not goblins" Aaarrrgghh corrected, apparently Blinky was still holding the button on the small device that allowed the two groups to speak to one another quietly. Y/n looked at the group of green creatures and saw some of them had stopped eating.

"Please don't tell me they can smell fear." Y/n whined quietly as she gripped the bush. Blinky just kept his mouth shut but his lips in a tight formation. This was then soon followed by Toby whining from his side of the walkie-talkie , probably from some massive fear.

"Oh no, I can too!" Toby said after he smelled his armpit, Aaarrrgghh seemed to be a little uncomfortable as he looked at Toby and the goblins.

"Then stop, or they will eat you!" Blinky growled into the walkie talkie. Only for Toby to cry out in fear. This caused Blinky to slam his hand down onto the speaker in hopes of them not being seen. But the goblins had caught on as they had destroyed the truck. Only the rubber wheels were left behind as some of the goblins smelled the air. They then growled as they turned their backs to see Jim, Blinky and Y/n to see they were caught.

"Perhaps I've made my point to loudly." Blinky said sheepishly as he then dropped the walkie-talkie. "Run!" Blinky yelled as he ran away with Y/n and Jim not far behind. Aaarrrgghh and Toby soon enough joined them when the three dashed by them.
