Sorry for taking so long to update!

Fear...

That's what you were feeling. The moment you came into your room, dark thoughts and voices filled your head. You didn't even bother to check your phone when it repeatedly rang with messages or calls, you ended up silencing your phone in order to focus on the sounds surrounding your room. Another odd thing was that Strickler didn't really check up on you after you just barged into the house and ran to your room. You kept questioning more and more about what was real in your life. If Ms. Nomura was a troll thing, who knows who else is one. All your thoughts were interrupted when you heard frantic tapping on your window. Causing you to yelp and fall off your bed. "Are we sure we want to bring her along?" Someone asked from outside as you looked around franticly and saw a bat. You quickly grab the bat and quietly raced up to the window. You slammed it open with a angered look on your face but froze.

"Uh, hey Y/n." Jim said with a nervous smile on his face. He looked over at the bat in your hands and chuckled quietly. "Rough night?" Jim asked as he pointed to the bat, Toby was probably waiting around or acting like a ninja and making sure no one was watching them. You looked at the bat and sighed, leaning your body over the window sill, your arms dangling downwards as Jim raised a brow. "I literally just learned an adult I've know for my entire life is some troll creature thing." You said, Jim was now more confused. "Wait, how do you know that?" Jim asked, your eyes widened as you realized what you just said. You need to find a good explanation and fast. "I saw her getting chased by some weird goblins , trying to decide either to stay a human or that creature thing." You mumbled, Jim blinked before shrugging his shoulders. There wasn't enough time to question this more, Jim had to get everyone back to Troll Market.

"Okay, but I need you to come with me to Troll Market." Jim said as you got up and just leaned on the window with your arms propping you up as you looked at Jim in confusion. "What for?" You asked, Jim sighed and looked around before looking back at you. "Remember the bridge that locked away all the bad trolls? Toby might've gotten a picture of that same bridge when we went to the museum." Jim whispered, your eyes went wide. "WHAT?!" You yelled as you sat back, slamming your hands over your mouth and turning around to see if the lights in the hallway had turned on. After a minute of silence, your turned around and started to try and climb out the window. "What are you doing?" Jim asked as he stepped back, you grunting as trying to get out with only one free hand was kind of difficult. "If the bridge that was destroyed centuries ago is being rebuilt, we need to tell Blinky now." You said as you finally were able to slip your legs out, letting your body run out of the window and looking at Jim.

"I get that, but what's with the bat?" Jim asked as he pointed to the wore down object. You raised a brow at him with slightly narrowed eyes. "I literally just came from a museum infested with goblins, I'm aloud to be a little anxious." You said as you pointed the bat at him, Jim raising his hands as a way to show he surrenders. "Okay." Jim said and slowly walked sideways until he was out of your hitting range, climbing over the fence.

"Are you certain?" Blinky asked as he, Jim, Toby, You and Aarrrgghh looked at the picture on Toby's phone. Toby looked at Blinky with a blunt look at your eyes narrowed at the screen just thinking. "Are you unquestionably, unequivocally--"

"I'm certain." Jim said as he also looked at the screen with narrowed eyes. Y/n sighed and rubbed her brow. The fact that this could be true could mean not just bad but possibly good news. While you weren't to sure what real dragons act like, maybe you could actually fit in and not have to lie to someone who you truly were and what you do. Maybe even find a sibling or long lost relative. "okay, it's a little blurry!" Toby complained as he snapped you out of your thoughts. "You try taking a picture while hauling butt mister!" Toby said, Jim then suddenly remembered something and looked at Blinky. "We also saw something else, something big..." Jim said, Blinky seemed intrigued but also noticed how quiet Jim was taking. "Perhaps we will talk more upon what you and Tobias saw in the library." Blinky said, Aarrrgghh huffed a bit.

"Okay, well, what about the curator? How could a person just change like that?" Jim asked as both Trolls looked at him, Toby putting his phone back into his pocket as You looked at Jim with your arms folded across your chest. Blinky reached for a mug from a waiter troll as Aarrrgghh began to talk in trollish, leaving you, Jim and Toby confused on what they were saying. You may be a dragon, but Trollish was like a dogs bark to human. "What, what is it?" Jim asked as Blinky took a swig of his drink. "Changeling." Aarrrgghh said with no hesitation, Blinky spitting out his drink in surprise and quickly using a free hand to silence his large friend. Every troll gasped or glared at the groups table at the name of the creature. Blinky laughed nervously as if Aarrrgghh was joking until everyone returned to their own thing. "Not helping" Blinky scowled his friend, who laughed a little. "Sorry." Aarrrgghh said, everyone coming inwards of the table and not noticing the troll walking up to them.

"Changelings haven't been talked about in quite some time." Blinky said, finally noticing the troll standing behind them. "Do you mind." Blinky said after turning to him. "Whatever." The troll said as he rolled his eyes and walked away, but Aarrrgghh watched the troll just walk to another spot around the table. "In the old world, Gumm-Gumms..." Blinky paused upon then noticing the troll standing there, glaring until the troll groaned and walked off. "...stole our young and did something unnatural to change them." Blinky said as Aarrrgghh watched the troll finally walk away. "Their sole purpose: to spy on the world above." Blinky said as the human trio looked at each other. "Seems odd how one was watching, lady Y/n." Blinky said as he gestured to you. "What did they do to them?" Toby asked, meaning what the Gumm-Gumms... did to the young trolls.

Nasty business. Very messy." Aarrrgghh said as he shook his head, no approving of what the evil trolls did. Looking around, Blinky knocked over his cup and gestured for Jim to follow him. "These are the very reasons I doubt your certainty." Blinky said as he and Jim walked off. Aarrrgghh, You and Toby waited a bit before following the group out of the tavern. "Well, we have to tell someone." Toby pointed out as the three finally caught up to Jim and Blinky. "This is our city too." Toby pointed out. "Who? Our court-appointed psychiatrist?" Jim asked with rage as You sighed and walked off. "They're never going to believe us." Jim said as everyone began to walk out the Tavern. "Well, if it isn't the piece of flesh I'll pound into pancakes tomorrow." Draal said as he came into the tavern and blocked the exit, Y/n narrowing her eyes towards the giant troll as she walked over to Jim and stand next to him. "I look forward to your pain and I'll drink to your death." Draal said as he pointed to Jim with a grin, you almost wanted to growl at him but suppressed it.

"Death?" Jim asked anxiously as he turned around to look at Blinky who seemed to be focusing on you, noticing how your behavior changed so suddenly compared to the last time you saw Draal. "What is he talking about? I thought this was only a rematch?!" Jim yelled as he gestured to the troll who had his arms crossed, you kept glaring at Draal. "To challenge a troll's honor can only end in ruin. It's all right there in chapter three of 'A Brief Recap'--" Blinky said as he set his hand onto his hip, the other in the air with a knowing look on his face. But he stopped when he realized something, you were now also looking at Blinky as Aarrrgghh walked up behind the group. "You still haven't read the book." Blinky said as he realized and glared at the young TrollHunter.
