"It was my idea." Jim said, Vendal looked at the Troll hunter with a raised brow. "When Y/n was young, she and her parents got attacked by trolls." Jim said, while gesturing to her. Vendal looked up at Y/n who hid in her hat.

"Presumably Gum-gums." Vendal added and looked at Jim again. "Let me guess, you brought her down here to show not all trolls are bad like you humans." Vendal used the top of his staff to push Jim's chest lightly. " wrote and tell in your human childrens stories?" Vendal said, Jim opened his mouth to argue but now that he was actually hearing what Vendal was saying....

"Yeah, pretty much." Jim said, this caused Vendal to sigh and look at Y/n again who hugged herself carefully.

"I do suppose that as long as she keeps this all a secret...." Vendal paused as the group looked up at him hopefully. " the human girl can stay." Vendal said, the group, other then Y/n, sighed in relief. Vendal walked over to Y/n, who looked at him. "I am however confused as to why trolls would attack you humans, unless, you did something horrible to us trolls." Vendal said and walked away. 

This got Y/n thinking about it all through out Jim's training. At the moment, Y/n was sitting on the stairway, her jacket and hat resting next to her. Jim dodged a dummy's flame attack, then he blocked arrows shot at him with his sword and ran around Blinky.

"Always be afraid." Blinky said as Jim blocked more arrows. "Fear heightens your senses. Fear keeps you alive." Blinky said Jim leaned on his sword with a smirk, until a rock hit him int back, causing him to face plant infront of Blinky. "Arrogance gets you killed." Blinky said, Y/n smirked a little as Jim groaned.

"Yeah, I'll have to remember that." Jim said as he looked up at his mentor.

"Draal, however, does not fear you." Blinky reminded Jim as he picked up Jim. "That will be his weakness, but not you." Blinky said and he turned Jim around and tossed him back to his feet, Y/n laughed a little at how surprised Jim looked. "You'll be wetting your armor. That will be your strength." Blinky said, Y/n groaned in disgust as Jim batted away rocks that were shot at him.

"Aw yeah! looking good Jimbo. Feel the burn!" Toby said as he did squats next to Aarrrgghh. "If Jim's getting fit, I'm getting fit." Toby said and showed his chubby tracker to Aarrrgghh. Y/n thought about this and had an idea. She ran over to Blinky, causing him to smile at her presents.

"Hey Blinky, is there possibly a weapon I could train with?" Y/n asked, Blinky hummed in thought.

"I don't believe so." He said and looked at Jim, Y/n looked over to see Jim slicing and dicing the dummies with ease. Y/n felt a little uneasy at this as Jim swung his sword to deflect a set of arrows shot at him.

"You know, I think being afraid is the one rule that I-" He yelped as another set of arrows were shot at him, causing him to squat down and for the arrows to hit the dummy behind him. This caused the dummy to catch on fire as Y/n and Blinky walked over to him. "...I excel at." Jim said and gestured to the dummy with his sword.

"No Master Jim, you excel at all three." Blinky said as him and Y/n stood next to him. "If trolls are ever going to embrace you as a Trollhunter, you must ignore your humanly instincts." Blinky said, a dummy then popped up so fast, Y/n didn't even have time to stop herself from kicking it down.

 The dummy then turned in shards of stone. Y/n stood straight and looked at the two. Jim had his sword above his head with his eyes wide and Blinky looked the same. Y/n patted her sides with her hand and chuckled nervously.

"I toke Karate classes when I was younger." Y/n lied while raising her hands, another dummy popped up behind her, causing Jim to throw his sword at the dummies head. Y/n fell to the ground to avoid getting hit.

"Do that, and I have no doubt you will defeat Draal!" Blinky said as he grabbed Jim's shoulders. Y/n smirked until she heard laughing, Jim grabbed his sword from the dummy and helped Y/n up, they began to walk out of the Hero's forge and saw two trolls. But the one laughing was the bright blue one with massive horns and blue spiked back.

"Look... It's training." The blue troll said, Jim looked away in annoyance as Y/n tried to keep walking, but the troll noticed her. "Goody another human I can pound." He said, Y/n looked away in fear as Jim watched Draal in fear. Blinky walked over to Jim as Y/n walked ahead of the two.

"Let your fear keep you alive. Let his arrogance lead him astray!" Blinky said as he pointed at Draal with narrowed eyes. "Defeat him, and you'll make history." Blinky said, Y/n then nearly passed Aarrrgghh who poked her head lightly. She looked at him and saw Aarrrgghh had her jacket and hat.

"Almost forgot." Aarrrgghh said, Y/n smiled and took them from his hand and out them both on before giving the giant troll a hug. Blinky and Aarrgghh then walked them back to the bridge and wished them a good night.

"See you guys later." Y/n said as the biked away, she waited until they were out of view before turning into her dragon form and flew back to Stricklers house. She saw all the lights were off and snuck to the back and climbed through her window after turning into her human form. Y/n sighed as she laid on her bed and looked at the ceiling. "I gotta tell them sooner or later." Y/n said and sighed again before falling asleep.
