  • Dedicated to YOU<3 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING - MERRY CHRISTMAS!<3

A/N: Merry Christmas! This chapter is very specially dedicated to YOU, as a very special Christmas gift! Hopefully you enjoy it (again, it's a longer chapter... I tried to make it as interesting as possible haha)

Thank you so much to everyone who has read, voted, commented on this fanfic and has fanned my page.

Disclaimers:

1. I know that Nath doesn't have his driving license yet, but let's pretend he does in this ;)

2. I really don't know much about Nath's real family, so a lot of it's made up haha (and I don't want to invade his privacy that much!)

Watch out for typos (I still have to edit this but I'm too lazy to do it now), thank you so much for reading this and enjoy!

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

...

"How the hell did you even qualify for a driving license?" I muttered, stabbing at the GPS and flipping through some car-driving map mannual thing.

Nathan shrugged as I kept looking round in case we crashed into another car. Which, quite frankly, there seemed to be quite a high probability that would happen.

"Where do I go?" Nathan asked, looking confused.

I was about to send a spitting comeback but I looked up from my map and saw us stationary in the middle of a motorway. "Nathan! Drive! You can't just stop in the middle of the road!" I yelled.

"But where?"

I pulled an are-you-actually-being-serious? face at him. "Just in a straight line, maybe?!"

He didn't do anything and I just leaned over and began twisting the steering wheel in the most uncomfortable position ever to get us to stop at a layby. Thank God there was one nearby.

"Right, I'm driving and you're mapreading now," I said, unbuckling my seatbelt. He pulled a confused Sid face and I unbuckled his as well and stood up on my seat and more or less pulled him into my seat. I jumped into the driver's seat and settled myself down. The only problem I could've had was the fact that I was driving on the left, something I was not used to, but I was sure I could pick it up easily enough.

I stomped on the accelerator and sped exactly at the limit of 88mph. Already, I could see progress with this new setup.

We finally came to turning of a small village of houses. "Which one is it?" I asked, sticking my head out like a duck to have a peer at the numbers whilst trying to shut the bloody GPS yelling at me that I was going the wrong direction.

"Keep going - wait, it's that one, yeah that one, like this one!" Nath yelled excitedly.

I grinned as I slowed down. It was weird how our personalities were merging. It was hardly noticable to most people, but I oculd definitely tell that I was way less tempermental and a lot more polite and forgiving. As for Nath, he'd begun to yell a lot more - not because he was pissed off or anything, just out of social awkwardness.

We jumped out of the car and we took out our suitcases. As a joke, I'd made us each a sign with our names printed in huge letters with Sharpies and safety-pinned them to our suitcases so we couldn't possibly get them mixed up. Nathan grinned as he proudly picked up his own case with confidence.

He pressed the doorbell and I had a little look around; the garden was impeccably tidy and I imagined Nathan growing up here, running around amok like a headless chicken. There was a beautiful Christmas wreath hanging on the door and some twinkly multicoloured lights framing the door.
