A/N: Hello! Let me first and foremost say thank you to you for reading this and I hope you enjoy it! I hit 30 fans today and am quite shocked actually haha! I can't thank you enough :)
Also, I'm planning on doing lots more dedications for this fanfic (I always forget to!) since I've had some really lovely responses and comments, and they all make me smile, so I'd like to pay you back (if you get what I mean).
This chapter is dedicated to Katiebearrr who is really lovely and sincerely deserves a dedication! She voted for my fanfic and has also given me some great feedback which is very kind of her :)
Forgive me for any typos... I'm too lazy to proof read yet ;) I hope you enjoy and thank you again!
"Cass?" Richard asked, waving his palm in front of her unblinking eyes.
I cursed to myself inside my head. Why did he have to turn up now? Why did she have to answer the door? Why did she have to be such an obsessed fangirl?
Nathan scratched his head and then acknowledged my presence. "Um... does a girl called Minnie live here?" he asked, his voice wavering. His awkward social skills were really showing through, I nearly burst out laughing.
"Are you Nathan Sykes?" Cass stuttered, choking on the last word.
"Nathan Sykes?! Oh my God, I'm, like, oh my God - you're Nathan Sykes?!" Josh yelled, hyperventilating. He fanned his face, gasping for air. Wait, he was a fanboy? For Nathan? Since when?
"Who?" Richard asked, Cass and Josh simultaneously elbowing him in the ribs. Despite being a six foot guy with the body of a professional athlete, his body protected by a rock-solid six pack and lean muscle, Cass' skinny, pointy elbows and Josh's surprisingly forceful shove caused him to clutch his sides and cripple in pain, swearing under his breath.
"Um, yeah... yeah, I guess, yeah, I am," Nathan said, running his fingers through his hair.
"Oh my God!" Cass yelled. "I swear, I'm, like, your number one fan! Oh God, that sounds so cliche, but it's true! Oh my God!"
"I am as well!" Josh shouted.
He smiled sweetly and then acknowledged my presence. He then held his arm towards me, his hands holding my phone. I hadn't even realised I'd left it somewhere. I shuffled to him and took it from him, smiling.
"You left it in the cab," he said, shrugging. I looked at him quizzically. Then I realised this word had been in one of my many vocabulary lists. I searched round in my brain for the definition. Damnit! I knew this! I pulled a pained expression and Nathan raised his eyebrows. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"What's a cab?" I asked, scolding myself for forgetting, and he laughed.
"It's slang for a taxi," he said, grinning. I sighed and rolled my eyes. You're such an idiot, Min, I thought to myself jokingly.
"Do you guys know each other?!" Cass asked.
"Yeah, we're -" Nathan began.
"We're friends," I said quickly. He raised his eyebrows questioningly and I just sharply glared at him, telepathically yelling at him to shut his mouth. I couldn't tell if Cass would be delighted if she found out he was my boyfriend, or would kill me there and then. Keeping quiet and shutting Nathan's trap was the safest option.
"Oh my God, that's amazing! You should've told me before!" Cass exclaimed excitedly. "Do you want to come in? You can have some tea! I can make you a spag bol!" She then looked at me and grinned. "Minnie could probs make you something Chinese!"
