A/N: Firstly, I am so, so sorry for not updating anything in the longest time ever! January has been a mad and hectic month and will be for the rest of the month but I managed to find the time to conjure up a (pretty crap and choppy) chapter! Apologies as it really isn't very good and there are probably loads of grammar/spelling/typing errors everywhere which I'm kinda embarassed to admit *laughs awkwardly* And oh my gosh, thank you for 100 votes on this fanfic, it is unbelievable but I feel so lucky and happy! Thank you so much!

 RIP to Harrydog<3

The dedication for this chapter goes to jossthewanted - she's super duper lovely, has an awesome profile picture (I love it) and reads & votes for my fanfic which is highly generous and kind. Plus she fanfics and has a brilliant tumblr (I love it!!)

Also I have Twitter (I'm pretty dull, mind) if anybody wants a chat... @NatalieImagines . I'll follow all of you lovely readers back - just give me a shout! :D

Cheers and (hopefully) enjoy!

I arrived at his door, rang the doorbell and then stood back. Siva greeted me, his hair floppy because it was still in the process of drying, and welcomed me in. It made me laugh that when I thought back to when I first came to this door - Siva answering the door and me mistaking him for Nathan and yelling in his face. Ha.

Their flat is as messy as ever. Though I guess I could be forgiving considering they were leaving for America in the next few days, a bunch of crap already bundled up, but that still didn't leave any excuse for the piles of unnecessary junk. When will they ever learn? I thought, my eyes fixated on an offensive looking pile of dirty clothes. There was probably a stack of used boxers under there. Urgh.

Siva led me to the kitchen to offer me a drink and I heard a voice yelling at Nathan. I'm not the only one, I thought, hopefully that person can knock more sense into his head than me. It was a woman's voice, and I wondered if maybe his mother or someone was visiting, despite the accent being completely different.

I saw a lady with curly shoulder-length brown hair; I could imagine her being very pretty when she was younger. She had some little kids grabbing her and Nathan and pestering them.

"Nathan! What on earth is going on here?!" she yelled, and then burst into a hilarious cackle of laughter. It was infectious and I wanted to laugh too. This must’ve be the infamous Jayne he always told me about.

He grinned sheepishly, laughing. "I have style," he said, giggling. I then noticed his hair – it was an absolute disastrous mess, sticking up at all angles. Shockingly, he still looked attractive though. He turned round and saw Siva and me at the door. Immediately, a surge of blushed red spread across his face and he ran his fingers through his mad hair.

"And this is my girlfriend, Minnie," he said, grabbing me to his waist. My eyes widened in shock. What was with the sudden outburst? Jayne smiled and laughed again and pulled me in for a hug, Nathan's arm still round my waist. I was literally being stretched.

"So, I finally get to meet the lovely young lady who has stolen little baby Nath's heart," she laughed. Both Nathan and I couldn't help to blush and Siva and Jayne laughed at us, Max cackling in the background whilst waiting for his toast to jump out. She had a really bright, sunny laugh. I loved her, I decided. I wished she was my mom now.

Jay walked into the kitchen and Jayne's kids ran up to him, jostling around him for his attention. He grinned at them and whirled them round in the air, one at a time - I pictured him being a good dad when he was older. He sniffed and then a puzzled expression ran across his face. "Is that the smell of something burning?" he asked, looking around, his fingers scratching in his coppery curls.

Nathan suddenly yelped and spun around frantically like a headless chicken. "Aargh! The bacon! It's burnin'! Shite!" Nathan screeched, a hand flying to the frying pan and the other grabbing onto a spatula.

"Don't swear, Nathan!" Jayne yelled, but laughed at the same time. Nathan looked shocked at the sin he had just committed, but then desperately went back to his bacon. He pathetically poked the blackening bacon with the spatula. Jayne laughed hysterically again looking at him. He flicked the crispy, dark bacon onto a piece of crumbly white bread lying on a plate.

"So, are you going to put some bread on top of that then?" Jayne asked, curiously, trying to contain her laughter but failing miserably.

He grinned as he covered half the blooming bacon with ketchup and sandwiched it with another piece of bread. Looking at his two-Michelin star masterpiece he took a massive bite out from the corner and smiled, impressed with himself. Talk about self pride.

Checking my phone, I did a quick mental calculation and deduced the guys had exactly six hours before they had to leave for their flight. It was early afternoon and most of them had only just woken up, and that was only because of Jayne. Kelsey and Nareesha were due to arrive soon to say goodbye but also help out with their crap.

I mean, they were going to abandon their house for a couple weeks – leaving it in their usual rank state would result in mould and fungi growing, probably.

Six hours was not enough to sort out their pigsty, but you can always try, right?

I gave Nathan a quick peck on the cheek and before I could fully pull away, he softly placed his lips on mine, his hands on my face. I closed my eyes and I felt a few tears slipping out but I smiled all the same. I gave him a hug and when I pulled away, he looked like he might cry but smiled nevertheless.

"Have fun," I said, wiping away a tear. "Smile."

He grinned and climbed into the car and gave me a wave as he was being driven away. Nareesha, Kelsey and I stood and watched the car drive on until it cut off round a corner. We all gave each other hugs and I said I had to set off home, since I had a lecture in the morning and required my much-needed sleep. They both offered to drive me home but I refused. I wanted an evening walk, even if it was by myself.

I plugged myself into my earphones and set off on my trek home, alone. One of Dvorak's symphonies came on, an old favourite of mine. Smiling to myself, I walked up the road, tracing the route the boys had taken in their car.

I took the opportunity to reminisce about the past several months - everything had been a total whirlwind of events, happening within moments of each other. It seemed laughable the time period in which I had known Nathan or even had been dating him properly - it was now a little over a month. Never had I thought I'd ever feel in love with someone at eighteen and feel so emotionally attached to somebody as I was to him.

My walk home took me past the Starbucks I worked at and my mind flashed back to the moment when Nathan had come in and had sat there until closing time to speak to me. How I'd been furious at him and he still tried to console me. Not many people had tried to calm me down before - it was always a case of "she'll get over it" and I felt like I did. But never properly.

Dvorak came to an end and Warzone replaced it. I listened to Nathan's deep intro and felt a bit uneasy. Watching every interview and reading all the articles about The Wanted was a challenge I still was miles off from completing, but I had vaguely heard that Warzone was based off on the boys' true experiences, including Nathan's. We'd never delved that much into our dating history, probably because of my severe lack of one. I wondered who he must've based the song off of, considering he'd played quite a large part in the writing of the song.

I felt pained thinking of anyone cheating on somebody; it was a concept I wasn't particularly familiar with. Heck, dating was something I barely knew anything about, let alone infidelity! Whilst living in London I'd learned a lot more about relationships. The conservative culture of China had kept me very guarded away from anything to do with relationships and when I first came to London, everyone seemed so grown-up and mature about it. Relationships were complicated enough, adding cheating into the mix made things impossible.

Besides, I’d trusted Nathan. I didn't have anything to worry about.

But life's not always that simple.
