Jack's POV

The four of us is sitting in the girls room. Hiccup and I had walked over here when we heard Rapunzel's laugh. When we entered both of the girls turned really red in their faces. I had settled next to Rapunzel and Hiccup sat next to Merida.

"So. What now?" she said.

"Well isn't it obvious?" I answers.

They all turn to me looking confused.

"Well you know what Pitch did to Hiccup last night, he tried to kill him!" I say. "So what would stop him from coming here again, taking us out one by one."

"Jack is right. We don't have time to wait any longer, Pitch clearly knows what we are doing here." Says Merida.

"So you mean we should head of and try to stop him now?" Asks Rapunzel. "I don't think the guardians thinks we're ready."

"And that's why we can't tell them. Pitch could kill them just like that, but he need us. So we can't risk them getting hurted. Therefore we need to escape." I say firmly, knowing it's the only way. The guardians had helped us and trained us. We can't risk their lifes.

"And Pitch said it himself right? We are really strong together and we are the ones to stop him" says Merida, cousing Rapunzel to look down.

"I think you should go without me." She whispers.

"Rapunzel, you need to come with us. To stop Pitch we need every element!" I say.

"But I don't have any." She answers.

Merida breaks the silent. "Rapunzel, have you noticed something with your hair?"

"What do you mean?" She asks standing up and turning around. Then I see it to. Rapunzel has got her hair in a ponytale but it is almost reaching all the way down to her feet. Yesterday it was just down her back! Rapunzel looks really shocked.

"How'd it get that long?!"

"Maybe it means your powers are kicking in?" Says Hiccup. Rapunzel looks at him.

"You think so?" She looks concentraded but nothing happens.

"Punzie, it's clearly magic involved to that, so will you please come with us?" I ask. She smiles at me.

"Fine."

We begin to plan how to do, and we agree on that we'll need to leave now. We enter the globe room, and Hiccup finds a map showing us a dark moving dot. "That has to be Pitch." Says Merida. He was really far away so we begun packing a bag of food and taking with us what we needed.

"How will we do with that?" Merida ask, gesturing towards our four dots on the world map.

"I have an idea" I say. I cover up the entire globe with a layer of ice, hiding our positions from the guardians so they won't come after us. "That will sink them down." I say proudly. Hiccup takes a step forward placing a hand on the ground and lifting up four walls, capturing the globe.

"And that will sink them even more I say, and playfully hit Hiccup's arm. He flinch like he thought it was for real but then he smiles up at me.

"Now let's go before they wake up." He says.

Meridas POV

We were walking through the woods. It's afternoon and still bright. We all sit down on a fallen tree lodge, taking a break and drinking some water.

We talk and talk about how we could build a strategy against Pitch but we don't think of so good ideas. Rapunzel's hair had during the morning grown even longer. I had no idea why but it didn't seem like dark magic. "Maybe we could..." Starts Hiccup but gets interupted when we all hear a loud growl. We turn around and right behind us where a black demon bear. Behind it was a trail of black sand. It was definitely one of Pitch's plans. I sit like stoned in shock and fear; I had always had a fear for bears. Rapunzel drags me away in the last second when the bear hits down its giant claws down the treelog.

"This stinks of Pitch Black!" Says Jack.  We all take a step back away from the bear, Rapunzel practically dragging me along. I'm so scared. I don't remember last time I was but ever since my father lost his leg on a hunting trip to a bear I've been terrified about them. The bear takes a step against us eyes sticked to mine. The bear suddenly stumbles back when a flash of ice hits it in the stumach. Jack is standing in front of me with his arms up. The bear growls and takes a giant jump towards us with its jaws wide open. I feel I'm about to pass out but I don't even scream. Then the earth rises to a protecting wall in front of us and I see Hiccup has taken a step forward standing next to Jack. We hear a loud sound when the bear crashes in to the wall. Jack nods toward Hiccup who fast let the wall disappear and Jack strikes the bear once again making it land flat on its back. It weakly lifts its head and growls before it is slowly drifting away turning into dark sand. I let out a long sigh of realief. Jack, Rapunzel and Hiccup all turns towards me.

"Well thanks for the help!" Says Jack sarcastic.

"What's wrong Merida?" Asks Rapunzel.

"Well it's just that... I've got a foby of bears." I confess, knowing secrets won't lead us far.

"Well it's over now." Says Rapunzel comforting.

"We should probably keep going. Pitch clearly knows our position and we need to find him so we have a bigger chance." Says Hiccup and we all agree.

We keep on walking and now we only walk upwards. I feel my legs getting really tired and I'm still shaken, but Rapunzel seems to have it the hardest with her energi and her hair that now is following on the ground but Jack just continues not even panting so we all follow him in silent. We now walk about ten meters away from a deep cliff edge. Then I hear a twig crack. Out from the woods beside us comes about fifteen black horses all frusting with red eyes. They fastly runs towards us and now everyone has seen them. I shout fire at three of them, making them instantly disappear while I can see Hiccup trap five others in the ground, trapping them with wines. I shout down the ones he captured and they disappear with my fires light. I hear Rapunzel scream her lungs out and I turn towards Jack. I see Jack surrounded by seven other horses on the edge of the cliff. He blasts three of them down instantly with his ice but we can all helplessly hear his scream when one of them jumps on him, tackeling Jack down the abyss.

Wells, this chapter sucks but I'm a bit on a dead end in the next chapter. Meanwhile I am writing on my new book "Keep calm and ship on" so would love if someone checked it out, will post in a couple of minutes :-)
