Chapter 8

Rapunzel'S POV

My eyes goes wide when I see a shout of rain coming throw Jack's finger tipps and hits North squere in the face. At first Jack looks ashamed but he burst out laughing and we all join him.

"Wow, that was easier then I thought it would be. You found your power source right away. Can you do it again?" Asks North shaking the water of. "But aim on something else!"

Jack nods smiling and shouts out a pile of water on the ground. We all look in amaze as the water freezes and goes up, making a frozen wave.

"Wow." Breaths Tooth.

"I'm a bit tired, someone else wants to try?"

"Yeah I'll go! Says Merida excited.

"Okay, just think about it and it will happen. But DON'T SHOUT FIRE AT SOMEONE." Says Bunny, taking a step back.

Merida looks really concentrated and frowns. I take a step back to, don't want to be fired up.

I see how she takes up her hands and a ball of fire flames beneath them, steady flying in the air.

She let it burn out and sighs exhausted.

"That was amazing!" Congratulates Tooth. "Hiccup's next?"

Hiccup don't answer and takes a step forward. He looks unsecure of what to do but after a few seconds he places his right hand on the ground and lifts up a pealar of eart with it. I see it rise about an meter and then some flowers spreads around it in all kinds of colors. Hiccup backs of and wipes away some sweat of his forehead.

"Ah, you bloody show off!" Frown Bunny.

"You're just jealous you only can paint eggs" Smirks North. "Rapunzel, think you can top them?"

I take a step forward and really concentrate. I close my eyes and think about a small wirlwind take form between my hands. But when I open them there is nothing there. I l'm instead trying to make a wind blow like at the school but nothing happends at all. I feel Jack placing a hand on my shoulder.

"It's ok, Punzie. It's only your first time." He says trying to comfort me.

I ceep trying. Why does nothing happen? All of the others had made it! I feel anger creeping up me. Come on work you bloody wind! I think.

This is so unfair. I'm trying, I really am. But no powers come. I feel like a three year old sitting and pretending I could be magical. But maybe I'm not? Maybe they took wrong with me and someone else has the power of the wind.

"Rapunzel you need to calm down. Maybe you just don't know how control it and therefore you are blocking the magic out." Says Tooth trying to cheer me up.

"Jack, Merida, Hiccup. Follow me. Let's go to a room where there is more space to practise." They walk after North and Jack turns around at the door looking pity at me but smiles cheering. Then they all walks out except me and Tooth.

"Okay, let's try to find that aura i'm you!" She says.

I nod. I need to try.

Meridas POV

This was really cool. And I mean really. But I feel bad for Rapunzel. I wonder why she can't control any powers. In the bigger room was a small pool and Jack managed to freez and thaw the water in it three times. He could control the water too but he mostly used ice and snow. Hiccup had made the entire dirt floor go up and down and he had made wonderfull flower arrengments. He had even accidentally knocked down North with a earth pealar (Jack just couldn't stop laughing) and after that Hiccup just tricked with grass and sand.

I was pretty happy with my results too. I made and put out fires, making balls and lights but it turned even better when I learned I could control lightning throw my fingers. I'm not even ashamed of how many times I tazerd Jack. Now it is late and we are all exhousted. I go back to my and Rapunzel's room. She isn't there and I'm just so tired I fell straight a sleep.

I wake up about an hour later when I hear Rapunzel enter the room even though she sneeks.

"Hi. How'd it go?" I asked with a jawn. She hesitaded a bit.

"Nothing. Not a single blow."

To my surprise she sits down on my bed.

"Well maybe you're just trying to hard. Just try to relax." I say in a comforting tone.

"Maybe..." She answeres. "But right now I just want to sleep. She hugs me and at first I feel really tensed and surprised but then I hug her back.

"Good night" I whisper.

"Don't let Jack Frost bite" she answers and we both laugh so hard everyone most have waken up.
