Doc Scurlock

"Doc!" I screamed as I heard a gun fire and watched Doc's body shoot back. I ran over and pulled his body into the small hut that we were taking cover in. "Y-Y/n, I'm okay don't worry." He choked out with a fake smile plastered on his face. "Ok I won't worry," I said with tears in my eyes as I delicately kissed his forehead watching as the color drained from his face.

After some quick consideration, Billy turned to Dave who was next to him and told him something along the lines of "you have to go out and there and start shooting" and David quickly pushed away this option with enthusiasm.

I looked back down at my boyfriend Doc below me and I saw a look in his eye that I did not like. It made me scared because I knew exactly what he was going to do, and I knew that I wasn't going to like it, but I wouldn't dare stop him.

"I love you so much Y/n and I know that you're not dumb enough to believe me when I say that I am okay. I know I'm dying, but I have to make sure that I don't die for nothing okay. You need to make it out of here and I am more than willing to give my life up for you to live. I have to go out there." Doc said with a couple of tears forming in his eyes. "I can't live without you Doc if you go I go." I responded looking at Doc with a couple of tears falling down my eyes. I grabbed Doc's hand delicately and placed it on my heart. "This heart still beats only because you are in my life, if you were gone I know that I would die of a broken heart." I said and Doc nodded at me knowing that he wasn't going to beat my stubborn self.

I stood up and grabbed onto his arm so that I could help him up to a standing position. Everyone looked at us knowing what we were about to do and they all gave us a weak smile acknowledging us for our soon to be selfless actions.

When we made it to the doorway, we both grabbed our guns and got ready. Before we stepped out we both turned to eachother and I said "I love you so much." and Doc quickly said after me "I love you even more." and with that, the two of us jumped out our guns firing over and over again. Doc got hit almost immediately multiple times in the chest, and I felt a bullet enter my leg, and I was sent to the ground in a heap. I lay there feeling the warm liquid start to flow from my body, but I got up again shooting my guns as quickly as possible and watched as I knocked out a couple of guys who were firing. But then I felt something hot go through my chest and I fell back onto the ground. This time I knew it wasn't good.

I turned my head and looked at Doc who was laying motionless on the ground. After doing so I started to slip out of consciousness and just like that. Lights out.
