Both me and Doc were resting under a tree in a scenic meadow with wildflowers sprouting up everywhere one looked, when all of a sudden I noticed Doc staring at me with a sweet smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile back and ask "Why are you staring at me like that?" while playfully poking poking his shoulder. "I was just imagining how amazing life would be if you were my wife." Doc said looking at me right in the eyes. "Well if that's the case why don't we get married?" I asked him causing him to laugh a little bit then get on one knee and say "Y/n would you do me the honors of being my caring, creative, intelligent and abosultely stunning wife?" I looked at him with a giant smile on my face then replied "I would absolutely love to be your wife."
I laid my head down on his lap and looked up into his beautiful blue eyes that shone like saphires in warm spring sun content with the life that I am going to live from this day forward. "You know Doc, you're different than any guy that I have ever met." I told him looking up at his face that was still in a smiling expression. "How so?" He asked looking down at me. "The way you think, the way you write, the way that your form your sentences in a way that is calculated yet creative, you are absolutely the perfect man for me." I said as the rosy pigment on my cheeks turns a darker and darker shade.
Doc looked around at the surroundings that engulfed us and as the clouds slowly passed by, he said "You know before I met you, no one ever appreciated the things that I write or the way that I speak or anything for that matter besides the fact that I could shoot a gun. But then you come into my world and everything has changed, you know that I am more than just a man with a gun, you know that I care about the simple things in life, and most importantly you know that I am capable of loving. And for that, I love you more than anything in the world Y/n." Doc said and at this point could feel tears foring in my eyes because I knew with all my heart that the man that I was in love with was completely and utterly in love with me as well.
I sat up and looked at him dead in the eyes as a couple of tears slipped from mine. He lifted one of his hands up and wiped the tear from my eye while smiling delicately at me. After he wiped the tear away, he gently lifted my face towards his so that his lips could easily reach mine. When the two of our lips connected, not only was there passion flowing through us like we have never experienced before, but it also felt as if we were even more connected than ever. I guess in Doc's terms you could probably say that we went together like a bullet goes to a gun. Without a bullet a gun cannot successfully fire, and without Doc I could not succesfully live my life.
I could have stayed there sitting in the long grass kissing the man of my dreams all day, but the two of us snapped back into reality and remembered that we had to get going so that we could make it back while the sun was still shining in the sky. The two of us pulled away from eachothers lips, and stood up walking hand in hand to the beautiful brown horse that was tied up to a log near us. Doc hopped up on the horse and got all situated before helping me up onto the horse with me sitting side saddle. I do not believe that there is a word that could describe how thankful I am for meeting Doc, but I bet if I asked him, he would know.
