'star gazing'

star gazing. it was sohee's favourite thing to do.
late nights, lying down on the roof of her house, staring up into the clear sky above her. when she met mirae and minho, everything just felt better.
going from endless lonely nights of staring at the most beautiful thing in her eyes, listening to some of her favourite songs to endless deep conversations while her and her best friends sat in the calming atmosphere of 2am.
it was 2am, september 10th of their 2nd year in high school. the trio had been lying down on sohees roof for the last half hour, staring at the sky and talking about anything and everything that's happened in their lives.
"you know, we've done this so many times but i still can't seem to get bored of it" minho said whilst playing with the strings of his hoodie.
"it's just so calming what's not to like about it" sohee responded, staring at the stars with so much passion.
"stars and zodiacs and anything involving space and the universe are just so fascinating" her eyes were wide as she traced her finger along the many stars in the sky.
"hello sohee you look as beautiful as always underneath the moonlight, good madam please do take my hand in marriage" mirae over dramatized getting down on one knee.
"of course babe, let's run away and get married right now" sohee and mirae intertwined their hands and hugged each other close. minho groaned at their interaction, slowly standing up from where he was seated.
"see this is normal when you do this during the day but at night, IM the one who's dating her" he waddled over and protectively wrapped sohee in his arms, pulling her close to his chest. mirae groaned at the sight.
"i don't like either of you, when is it my turn to be happy." she fake stabbed herself with a knife and dramatically fell onto her back, acting like blood was spewing out from where she was 'impaled'.
"rae, babe, i think you should join the theatre club instead of the dance club" sohee blurted out while trying to detach herself from minhos grip, ultimately failing to do so.
"oh shut up and look at your light polluted sky" the girl huffed and dug herself further under her blanket to try and fend the mosquitos off.
sohee and minho could only laugh and her late night antics before turning their attention back to the sky. a small frown appeared on the girls face as she realized how light polluted the sky really was. minho took notice to this and rubbed her arm so she'd look at him.
"we can all go camping one day to see them in all their glory, love. don't worry about a thing." sohee smiled at him. boy was she so lucky to have him. they've been dating for about half a year and have known each other for about a year and a half, but the affect he's left on her in such time is one that she thinks will last her lifetime.
all she knows is that she absolutely adores him with every bone in her body.

okay but like the night sky in the country side is a sight that i'd literally do anything to see again, the stars were so clear and you could literally see the milky way. i was losing my MIND y'all i miss it
