"Woah daebak. I have never eaten such a wholesome breakfast!"

The elated hyung exclaims before munching on the bacon. Taehyung who sits across him, simply grins, swirling the tea in his teacup as he watches Jin with full blown cheeks like an adorable squirrel. Jin looks so fulfilled by the meal that he is commenting excessively on everything.

Taehyung is already full by just watching him eat. He never imagines that a common breakfast meal would taste different when he eats with Jin. They are more delicious and tempting, just like those red lips being smothered by butter and bread crumbs.

Wait, what.... What is Taehyung thinking?

He then remembers the results of the DNA test that he has not read yet. He should find a way to read it without Jin around, quickly.

"V," Jin speaks again after swallowing everything in his mouth. "You look like you are done with breakfast."

Taehyung nods curtly, before sipping his tea. "I am. What about you? Do you want my last toast?"

Jin hums, looking at Taehyung intently. "Why can't you finish it?"

"Beats me. So do you want it?"

"Okay," Jin stands up and reaches for the toast. "We cannot waste food, araso?"

"Ara. Anyway, I see that you have showered."

Jin freezes, his teeth biting on the toast.

"Was it painful? You could have waited for me."

"Aigoo, you are talking to a college student- omo!" Jin puts down his toast as he comes to a realisation of what he was supposed to do. "I need to return to my dormitory! Aigoo! My dorm master must be mad for me! Where is my phone anyway?!"

How could he forget just because of Taehyung? Jin feels ashamed of himself. Yoongi is probably checking on him after visiting Hoseok and Jimin. And his work at the cafe! Jin cannot believe the most routine part of his life is easily forgotten just because he wanted to eat a meal with Taehyung.

It is probably the nurses' fault. Why do they have to serve him a table of his favourite breakfast food, especially when he was starving since last night? He was so distracted and so engrossed on spending a good time over food with the young man he admired the most that he became forgetful!

Plus, he even showered, cleaning every inch of his body to smell good! Not to mention, he is also wearing hospital clothes, the only clean pair of clothes he can find in that suite.

"Ahh jinjja!" Jin stands up and tugs his shirt. "I need to change! I can't wear this to work. I have to call Yoongi and bring me some clothes. V, I need to call him right now."

"You're not going anywhere."

Jin flinches and grips the edge of table as though he needs to lean forward and make Taehyung understand his urgency.

"I have to come to work today! They need me. Even if I am with the CEO of the cafe, I still need to be there so that the cafe is not closed, jinjja!"

Taehyung pats the napkin on his lips and grins, hoping what he is about to say will calm Jin down.

"I heard Jung Hoseok-ssi and Park Jimin-ssi are already on their way to the cafe-"

"But I'm doing the dishes!"

"Mwo?" Taehyung blurts in absolute shock. "The dishes?"

"Ye! They both need to be at the front and making the drinks so I have to be around handling the kitchen! If either one comes in the kitchen, it will be not good for the image-" Jin pauses as he notices the change in the colour of Taehyung's eyes.
