Amour cafe is getting busier by the minute as the lunch crowd streams in. Some are getting take-outs while some dines in, occupying all the seats the place has to offer. It is not surprising to find unfamiliar faces and dialects, evidently not a resident or a worker here. They most probably patronise here due to it being owned by the modern prince, Kim Taehyung. The cafe is incessantly packed of girls taking selfies and posting them in social media so that they can chance Taehyung's attention on them.

The staff receives the crowd like they deal with it everyday. They even prepare themselves to be photographers for free. Of course the manager is always dragged into the scene, shamelessly being part of the picture. The girls pull him in either because he is the manager, staking a higher chance to get Taehyung's attention or the manager happens to be the handsome one among all his staff.

Observing the manager from the kitchen made Jin realise why that bastard has always been picky about looks.

The manager wants to be the most handsome one in the cafe so that he can enjoy the fame and praises.

Jin cannot count how many times he rolled his eyes in annoyance whenever he looks through the window and watch the scene repeat itself. He cringes everytime the manager plays prince with the girls, believing that he can be like Taehyung.

Yah, cross my dead body first! You're a million miles away from being anything like Taehyung-nim! Jin loses his frustration in his mind.

And not only does the manager's two faced personality piss him off, the manager has violently hit him and he shows no sign of remorse. The swollen bruise on Jin's cheek is still aching, making him look like he is half blushing.

A long sigh escapes him. He never expects that he would be working for a narcissistic abusive manager. Jin cannot believe Taehyung would hire a man like the manager to lead his cafe here. Perhaps Taehyung discriminates by looks too. That manager could have easily passed the interview because of his looks.

“I hope to see you again, Handsome hyung-nim!”

Could it be that Taehyung was only nice to Jin because of his looks too?

The pink-haired lad with the apron stares into the sink before him, water pooled with foam floating above it. His yellow gloves are immersed in the oiled water, holding the plates with both hands.

Maybe this was a bad idea after all. Jin begins to contemplate. Taehyung-nim and I were from two different worlds in the first place. Does Taehyung-nim really want to see me again? Does he even remember me after a month gone?

“Jin-hyung!”

Jin snaps back, finding Hoseok next to him. “Yah! You're scared me!”

“Mianhae! I'm checking if you are alright,” Hoseok grins softly. “I found the first aid box too.”

Jin's expression loosens up, touched by Hoseok's kindness. “I'm alright. Don't you think you're supposed to be at the front?”

Hoseok nods, “Yups but Chimchim is here to take over the counter so I can take my break.”

“I see. Then go ahead with your break.”

“But I want to treat your bruise. It was my fault too. Aigoo, I cannot stop thinking about how your handsome face got ruined because of my carelessness- Ahh!”

The poor boy screams when Jin splashes some water at him, Jin laughing hard. “There you are. I already avenged for myself. Now go away and eat. Don't worry about me, Hope.”

Hoseok frowns, drying himself. “Pabo! I was really trying to help!”

“I appreciate it,” Jin deliberately winks. “My Hope.”
