~One month later~

Loud cheers and laughter fill in the corridor of the boys' dormitory. The blonde basketball ace is still donned in his sleeveless jersey, a towel hanging over his neck while his shoulder carries his bag and his arm a basketball. He slaps high fives with his mates and waves farewell at them. When he reaches his room, he opens without hesitation.

At one of the study tables, Jin is sleeping over his folded arms which are resting on the keyboard of his laptop. Jin probably just finished his part-time online job and is now taking a break, even though it is already 2 o'clock in the morning. Yoongi tucks a side grin, closing the door behind him with the softest click. It is not that he expected his roommate to know about his win in the regionals. At least he wants Jin to stay awake so he can brag about how he dunked the final point.

With a sigh, Yoongi rests his stuff on the side of his bed and intends to walk straight to the toilet. Something on his own study table catches his eyes. He paces towards it and stretches the largest gummy smile he can ever give.

A take-away package of lamb skewers is placed over a note in which Jin's explicit handwriting stretches to all four corners. Yoongi sniffs the package, already inclined to eat it now. He looks over at the sleepyhead and decidedly resists the meal. He grabs his other clean towel and enters the toilet for a quick shower.

With dampened hair touching his brows, Yoongi exits the toilet. Surprisingly, Jin is wide awake and pulls a party popper, ribbons flying at Yoongi's face. Jin chortles at Yoongi's disgusted reaction which quickly shifts into a shy smile.

"Congrats, roomie!"

"Yah, stop dirtying the room with rubbish!"

"Aigoo, shut up! It's not that you clean the room, Yoongi!" Jin holds the shorter lad by the shoulders. "Do you want to see my version of Congratulations dance?"

Yoongi cringes. "Hajima! Hajima! Let me breath in peace, Jin-ah!"

Jin laughs so hard at Yoongi's desperate call that Jin falls back on his own bed hugging his stomach. Yoongi gathers the ribbons on the floor only to toss them on Jin's face. Their little brawl ends shortly as Jin sets the flip table in between their beds. Yoongi sits on his bed and cocks a brow.

"Yah!" Yoongi hugs the package of food. "I'm not sharing my skewers."

Jin snorts. "Why would I want them when I have steak, black soya sauce noodles and kimchi?"

Yoongi gasps at the three boxes placed before Jin. "You pig."

"Come here already," Jin opens the first box. "Let's eat together to celebrate your win."

The blonde lad hesitates at first, as he considers to browse his SNS like he always does every night before he sleeps. Seeing Jin chew hungrily suggests that Jin waited for him to return. The guilt washes in, Yoongi dropping his shoulders drastically.

"Genchana," Yoongi drawls, shifting himself to sit across Jin and he opens the box of his skewers.

Jin hums happily. "It tastes better when you're eating with someone."

Yoongi grabs one stick and munches. "I have something to say."

"Go on," Jin plunges his chopsticks into the noodles.

"You know, ever since you returned from that doll job of yours," Yoongi pauses for a moment to find the right word and eventually gives up. "You've changed."

Jin slurps a mouthful. "How?"

Yoongi starts to sway his hands, aiding him to explain. "Like firstly, you're more annoying now. You were just naggy at first and I could live with that. But now not only you're naggy, but you're loud, clingy and laughing too much."
