Omkara walked into the temple, his eyes roaming around to find his sunshine girl.
Where did she disappear so fast??
He was looking around when he felt someone tap on his shoulder. He turned around with a wide smile which dimmed when be saw who it was
"Om?? You are still here?? You haven't gone home yet??" Pinky asked
"Wo... I was looking ....er... I was looking at the temple architecture" Omkara stammered
"Temple architecture?? Kyun??"
"Uh chotima.... I was planning to build a temple" he said
"Oh my mata. Kiss devi keliye mandir bana rahi hei tu??" Pinky asked
(For which goddess are you building a temple?)
"Haha... Build matlab. I heard about a government tender on rebuilding an old temple. I was looking around ,so that I could get a better idea to make a decision" Omkara said without meeting his aunt's eyes.
"Acha!! Kuch tho gadbad hei" Pinky said suspiciously. (Something suspicious)
"I'm getting late chotimaa. Wo office se phone aya tha abhi. Chalte hei" he said and made his escape from there
(I got a call from the office. I'm going)
He got into his car and took deep breaths to calm himself
"Relax Omkara!! You can talk to her at night. She promised to call"

"I'm done. Goodnight everyone" Omkara said getting up from the dining room
"Pool side??" Shivaay asked making sure that they will be having their usual obro meet there
"Uh. Not today shivaay. I have a headache.Let me sleep it off" With that said he dashed off to his room and locked it not wanting to risk Rudra barging in later
Omkara paced the room for an hour waiting for the call.
"Why is she not calling?? Did she forget about me?? Should I call her and check. No no Omkara. What if she is with her parents. I should have asked her at what time she is going to call. Maybe she fell asleep" Omkara talked to himself realising it was close to midnight
His phone rang at that moment and Omkara picked up at the first ring.
"Gauri??"
"Omkaraji.. " she whispered
Omkara smiled contently and leaned back on the green recliner in his room.
"Had dinner??" He asked
"Haa.." She whispered again
"Why are you whispering??" He asked
"If I talk loudly, momma and papa will wake up" she whispered again
"You are sleeping with your parents??" He asked
"No. They are in the next room. But we can hear what we talk. I can always hear them talking sitting here. So they must also be able to hear na??" She whispered
"Achaa...teek hei"
"And it's very hot too. Inside the blanket" she complained
"Why are you inside the blanket if it's hot??"
"I'm hiding inside Omkaraji. Aap bhi na!! What if papa or momma comes at night to check on me hearing any noise. If I'm inside the blanket ,I can easily hide the phone" she said
"Achaa!! Where did you get this idea from?? Mujhe laga tum bahut hi bholi Hu" Omkara said in amusement
(I thought you are very innocent)
"Mein aur bholi?? Hayee. You come and tell my momma this one day okay. Wo hume hamesha shaitaan kehte hei. Aap aake batao unko ki mein bahut cute aur innocent hei" Gauri whispered and Omkara laughed loudly.
(She always tells me I'm a devil. You come and tell her how cute and innocent I'm)
"Mazak uda rahi ho kya meri??" She whispered angrily and he could picture her pouting
(Are you making fun of me)
"Nahi tho. Acha ye batao, why so late?? Kya kar rahi tum itni der tak??"
"My serial is at 10.30. It got over only at 11." Gauri whispered.
"And it's 12 now. What were you doing for one hour?"
"Wo kya hei na, mujhe wo episode phir se dekhne ka mann aaya. Isislye hum uss hotstar pe ek aur baar dekh liya. Jab meine wo dekha...mujhe un dono ki pehle mulakat ki scene phir dekhne ka mann aaya. Isiliye wo episode bhi dekha meine" Gauri whispered and Omkara shook his head in disbelief.
(After watching it, I wanted to see it again. So I watched it in hotstar. When I saw it, I felt like watching their first meet. So i watched that also)
Here he was pacing around waiting for her call and she was busy watching her serial.
"Mann bare dekha??" He asked with a fond smile
(Watched to your heart's content??)
"Nahi Omkaraji"
"Kyun nahi??"
"Maine kaha na..momma and papa can hear from the other room. Isiliye meine bina awaaz dekha episodes."
(I told you ,my parents can hear. So I watched without the audio)
"Oh. Koi baat nahi. Tum kal mujhe mandir mei milo. I will give you my headphones"
(No worries.Meet me at the temple tomorrow. I will give you my headphones)
"Ek aur phone??"
(Another phone?)
"No no. Headphone matlab, we connect it to phone and place it in your ear so that only you can hear"
"Achaa... Wo lambi wire waali. I have seen it in TV. Nobody uses these in our village." Gauri said
(Oh. The one with long wires)
"That's okay Gauri. I will teach you everything about city life. So when will you come to the temple??" He asked all excited to meet her again
"At 5??"
"Okay"
"Arre Omkaraji...hum bhool hi gayi. I didn't tell you what happened in the serial today"
(Oh I forgot to tell you what happened)
"Haa. Tell me" he said all ready to listen to any non sense as long as it is her voice
"Uss chirorta hei na. Ek number ki buddu hei. Aapko pata hei, this serial is a spin off from the main show ishq... Ishq mein tho kitna samajdhar tha ye banda. He left her with that villain. How could he?? Just because she lied, he conveniently ignored all that she did to help him and his family. Kaisi aadmi hei yaar. Aur upar se who lady villain ko shaadi karne ko haa kaha. Now I have to wait till 10.30 tomorrow to know what happens. In precap they showed the hero going to marry the lady villain and the heroine going to marry the villain" Gauri ranted her frustration with the obviously stupid hero.
(That guy is a fool. You know ,this show is a spin off from another show. In the main serial this guy was so matured and understanding. Now total opposite. He left the heroine with the villain. How could he)
"Maybe he had his reasons" Omkara said
"You tell me Omkaraji, if you were in his place, will you leave her with the villain?? If he wanted to leave her to die, why did he marry her in the first place and save her." Gauri huffed
And the conversation went on for sometime
"Phir kya hua??" Omkara asked and only got soft breathing from the other side as a response
(Then what happened?)
Omkara looked at the time and realised it was 1.30.
"Goodnight love" he whispered and hung up the call and lied down to sleep with a soft smile on his lips
