Omkara held Gauri's hand when they walked into the ballroom

It was a cocktail party arranged for the employees of Oberoi Industries. Their wedding is to be held in a week

The wedding is happening in full Punjabi style except for this cocktail party

After the small shagun ceremony held at Gauri's home the day they went to ask her hand for marriage ,they did the roka two days later

He had gifted her a set of diamond studs that day.

She was wearing them tonight which complements well with the torquoise cocktail gown she is wearing

This was the first time he saw Gauri in western style. And she look absolutely gorgeous

"Gauri. You look gorgeous" he whispered to her as they walked in

Gauri gave him a bright smile in return

"And you are the most handsome man I have ever met Omkaraji" Gauri complimented him

He had bought her this gown ,because he loved that color on her.

For their chunni ceremony ,she was wearing a torquoise colored lehenga with same colored choli with extensive baby pink embroidery on it.

They conducted the sagai on the same day evening where they exchanged rings ,officially committing to each other

Omkara walked around with Gauri ,introducing her to business associates and other employees

"Omkara ji. I'm tired" Gauri huffed after walking around for a while

"Let's sit here" Omkara guided her to a couch in the corner.

"Oh!! That feels heaven" Gauri mumbled removing her high heels ,which her Roop bua forced her to wear

"I will go get something for you to drink" Omkara said

"Thankyou Omkaraji. I'm really thirsty" Gauri said

As soon as Omkara was out of sight ,Ridimma walked towards Gauri ,her eyes spitting envy

"You are the middle class girl who trapped OSO" Ridimma gritted out giving Gauri a once over

Gauri looked at Ridimma bored

"Yes. That's me!!" Gauri said cooly

"Well. Let's see how long you will be able to hold his attention." Ridimma smirked

"Are you going to keep a watch on us?? You don't have any work at office??" Gauri asked making Ridimma fume

"You illiterate fool. Do you even know what you are getting into. He is just hooked to the novelty of you. Once the novelty wears off ,he will come back to me"

"You?? Why would he come back to you??"

"Because that's how rich people are."

Gauri laughed

"Why are you laughing"

"I always wanted to have my love story like they show in my serials. But my Omkara ji is so sweet. There was no drama. Atleast I have a vamp in my story" Gauri said happily

"What the hell?? Did you just call me a vamp" Ridimma asked

She wanted to create trouble for what Omkara did to her

She thought the village bumpkin would run off crying
