"Here Gauri bitiya" the man made a plate of spicy pani puris and handed it over to the girl

The girl and her family recently moved to their colony

The people living here in this colony have been here for years and they were a close knit unit. So when Shukla ji informed them about renting one of his houses to a family migrating from a distant village ,they were all apprehensive of letting new people in

"Papa..." Gauri cried and ran to her home only to see her father sitting with his bandaged legs propped up on the tea table

"Papa...what happened??" Gauri ran to him crying

"Nothing chutki. Papa is okay. I just fell down and sprained my ankle. Doctor saab said a few days of rest will cure it"

"How did you fall?? You should always be careful papa" Gauri chided her father for his carelessness

"Acha baba. Sorry. I will be careful from now on"

"Harsh ji. Drink this." Vasundhara sharma handed over a glass of kaada to her husband as a remedy for his pain.

"Vasu. If the lunch boxes are ready Banke lal will be here in an hour. You go with him" Harsh said

Usually it is him who takes the food to the Oberoi Industries. As he couldn't move his leg for a few days ,he asked Banke Lal ,the rikshaw driver living in their colony to take his wife to the office to deliver the food

Gauri tried to take her father to the bedroom so that he can rest ,but she wasn't strong enough to support him

Vasundhara came forward and helped them

"Gauri. Do one thing. You go with Bankelal ji." Vasundhara said

"Vasu. Bacchi hei woh. How can she manage?" Harsh asked
(She is a child)

"Harsh ji. We are in the city now. We need to let her do things on her own. Else she wouldn't be able to cope in the city"

"Papa. I'm a big girl. I can manage"
