The first day of the festival finally arrived and Rin helped set up her class' booth as they began the food prep.
Mephisto, under the guise of Johan Faust III, gave a dramatic entrance and started off the Festival with a bang(literally, because he was a diva like that).

In the first hour, the booth wasn't too busy. But once word got around about the delicious food being sold, they got flooded with students and even some teachers! Rin's cooking was a hit with the crowd and they demanded a lot. She was fine with working at a fast pace, but Godaiin and her other classmates were having trouble keeping up.

Rin had given some other classmates a recipe to follow exactly both for when she went on break and when she attended the dance party the next night. Their cooking wouldn't be as good as hers, but if they followed the recipe good enough, no one but Rin would be able to tell there was a difference because they weren't as sensitive as her.

"Man, you're amazing! You could probably open up a restaurant if you wanted. Not a chain, because only the one you'd be working in would be good, unless you employed other demons with talent in the kitchen." Godaiin told her.

Rin blushed. He'd been showering her with compliments and he'd stayed by her side the whole night. He helped manage the crowd and count out the money and make sure no one underpaid or overpaid. He occasionally cleaned up the kitchen area when it got too messy. He was great, honestly.

"So we're on for tomorrow night?" Rin assumed. Godaiin nodded, smiling at her.

"Will you dress up for me?" He wondered.

"I'll dress up for me. I like looking good. You just get the privilege of seeing me dressed up because we're going together." Rin corrected. She'd long since learned that she could at least act like she had the confidence to consider herself a glorious sight to see. She'd never been one for dress up, but she did love dancing and there was a dress code for the dance thanks to Mephisto being unnecessarily fancy and she enjoyed compliments, so it worked out.

Godaiin grinned wide. "That's the answer I wanted. I, personally, think you look good in anything, but I wouldn't mind getting to see you in a dress with your hair done. It's good that you dress up for yourself and not just go please people. My mother has told my sister since she was little that the only person she should dress up for was herself." He admitted, recalling his mother's advice. He'd ways preferred his mother over this father. Her advice wa should for life. His father's advice was good for business that Godaiin didn't care for

"Quit flirting and keep up the cooking!" One of their classmates teased.

At some point, Mephisto visited and told Rin he'd arrange for their booth to be inside the Amusement park for the dance party the next night.

"I know you won't be working there, Dear, but your recipes are still spot on. Thank you for providing so much for this Festival." He told her when he pulled her aside. "And please, get some more girls in there, it's a bit dull. You'll need more charm since you'll be at the dance tomorrow night, Rin." He snapped his fingers and provided more female uniforms to match the one Rin wore. She beamed at the compliment and went back to work, telling Godaiin about the exchange and showing him the uniforms.

"Please tell me you're gonna ask Izumo." Godaiin said, snickering.

"You know it. It's not a normal day if she doesn't flip her hair and spout some whiny bullshit about always having to help us dependant losers when we ask for her help." Rin told him knowingly. As irritable as Izumo could be, she'd almost ways end up helping them and refusing to admit that she cared about them as she did so. Rin knew she could depend on Izumo.
