A/N Thank you to everyone for reading Aries. I hope you are enjoying it!

Trust me to be the girl that comes face to face to a large bay face. A horse of course. It's breath is heavy as it eyes me. Not taking it's eyes off me. I reach out a hand to try and comfort the horse but it quickly doubles back and runs bucking as it goes. So much for a friendship. I also turn back and head back towards Gala. She was constantly whinnying and it was beginning to scare me.

She had good reason to shout out. When I arrived at her side, I noticed a large gash in her leg and it was bleeding quite drastically. I quickly whipped off my hoodie and tied it around her leg to try and stall the bleeding before ringing Maiya to ask for her trailer as she was closer than Dad.  I also ring dad to take her to the vets to get her checked up once Maiya arrives. She arrives within five minutes and we quickly get her into the trailer. Carefull of her leg I watch them drive off towards the house and safety. I turn around not believing what I'm doing. It's crazy, stupid even! I should be with Gala making sure she's ok and happy and healthy!! Yet there I am walking into the the flowers.

Yes, Im crazy. No, I don't know why I'm doing this. My heart was racing but when I saw that horses eyes I knew it had seen bad things and that it needed to be cared for. I trample what must have been thousands of flowers before I come across an opening that revealed a large billowing willow tree that was decorated with small wooden stars attached to thick strings. Now this view reminded me of a very old memory from when I was six and Braden was was eight. He showed me the stars he 'made'  with dad. By made I mean dad let him cut the paper template which came out very jagged. Dad managed to fix it and let us colour them in. Dad tied them up and we used to play around the tree for hours before it started getting too cold and dark to walk to the tree and back and since we moved in January we never got to say a proper goodbye to the star tree. Yet here I was staring at it without noticing the bay slowly getting up and approaching me. They brush against my hand and sniff it. Safe. That must of been what they thought. I walk over to the tree and the, what I now know is a, mare follows me slowly making sure I don't pull any tricks on her. I sit under the tree and she sits the over side.
"Hello."I don't know why I attempt to talk to her."mare? Me too. Well not really I'm a girl which is like the human version. Not that your bothered. You like stars? Me too. Did you know I put these here? Probably not I've never seen you before. "The mare looks at my before laying her head back down."I'll need to give you a name if we keep talking. Maybe a star related one? What month is it? This should be the star sign I name you. It's March so that means Aries. "She looks at me longer."yes definitely even you seem to agree.

So now I am friends with a bay mare named Aries. Fun times! I can't believe this but could she be the one? My perfect star horse? Who knows? Only the future can tell.

A/N I am also writing a mini book about the time the Whistlers were living in their old home
