Obviously Aries is a huge distraction for me that I had forgotten about poor Gala. It's been two days since the accident and we have no clue what happened. One minutes she's happy and we are galloping through fields and the next she barely able to stand. I walk down to her stall and start putting a fresh bandage on her leg when I hear a truck pulling up outside. I continue untill someone knocks on Galas stall door. Looking up I see Maiyas brother leaning over the door,
"Hey Maiyas mate I was wondering where your dad was." He says clearly not bothered about what I was doing.
"My name's Courtney and he's probably fixing up the indoor arena." I get back to  Gala and hear him tapping on the door.
"Can I help you?" I ask getting impatient,
"Um no it's fine I got it." He picks up a bag then starts walking towards the muck heap.
"The arena is that way." I point past the pastures towards the location of the arena.
"Ha, thanks I was just looking around." He walks out the barn and up towards the arena.Ruby puts her head out to see who was talking and it seemed to startle him a bit as he jumps but he just laughs it off and gives her a little rub before leaving the barn.

After I finished my chores and fed all the horses I start walking towards the flower field. I had a bag on me that had in a spare headcollar and leadrope but that was only if Aries felt safe with them. I didn't know what that mare had been through and didn't want to loose her trust with me. I quickly skip past Maiyas family mansion so I'm not spotted by her or Ash. Ash is great but obviously she would go crazy if I told her about Aries and I've only just met Maiya so didn't know if I could trust her with my secret. I arrive where I first saw her and once again she's tooting about in the flowers. She spots me and stops. Watching me if I move to quickly at her.
I start walking towards the star tree and hear her hoofs slowly following. I feel like squeeling with excitement and joy but couldn't because otherwise it would just ruin everything.
I arrive at the tree and without any say so Aries lays down exactly where she was last time. However this time she didn't lay her head on the ground but waited for me to sit down before resting it on my lap. I sit in awe at the beautiful creature relaxing by my side putting her full trust into me.
I hear a clicking noise and jerk a little which made her jump but I lay back and slowly start rubbing her forehead just like I do with Ruby.

Maybe I'm just attached to Aries because she is like a big Ruby. Same colour, same  attitude. Pretty much in the same situation Ruby was when I found her. I was just walking past an empty field when I saw the small filly laying under a bare bush. Her hooves were overgrown and her mane was all matted. She did well to have been so young and to have survived. We connected almost as soon as she trusted me. Once again a way that  both her and Aries are similar.

Trust. I remember the bag and when Aries got up to inspect some flowers I take out the headcollar from my bag and she seems interested in it. I let her sniff it before slowly putting it on her face. She couldn't have been wild her entire life she was willing and wasn't scared of it. I attach the leadrope and walk around with her. This was going well. Almost too wrong. I take the headcollar off before sitting under the tree with her. After around three hours I say goodbye and start walking back to the flowers. Suddenly my phone because to buzz it's texts from Ash
"URGENT someone is with that horse!!"
She attached a picture. That's me alright, that click sound must have been her 'horsecam'. How did she not know it was me?
