what is school for

Diary entry 508

hey, it's Jason and today is the first day of my senior year I can't believe I'm in the final year of high school I have no clue what I'm going to do after, but I know dad wanted me to get a scholarship in college for football, but I don't know if that's what I want. Today is also the 7th anniversary of them adopting me a lot has happened since then dad passed away of cancer a year ago it hit the family hard, and it is still hard because he was the light in the dark he always made a bad situation good with his funny jokes I guess I just wish he was here to take these next steps with me. Well, that's it, for now, I have to get ready for school and have breakfast because Natasha wants me to drive her and Christian today because she wants to get there earlier to pick the best seats in her first class you know it has been weird not having you around every day just coming up to my room jumping onto my bed just so we could sit and talk for an hour every morning I miss that oh yeah I forgot to mention Natasha has been doing very well she made it onto a dance squad just like she always used to talk about she still wishes you were here to see her dance, but she understands that you always with her in her heart dad I wish you were here right now there is so much I wish I could tell you I love you so much.

Jason then places his diary back into his safe and locks it with his key before walking downstairs to the kitchen where his mom and sister were waiting for him, he walks into the kitchen and grabs the box of corn flakes of the table, and pours them into the bowl then after the milk he begins to talk to his mom and sister about some things like the nasty messages he was getting over summer from a bunch of people telling him that he was worthless, and he asked them if he is worthless because he hasn't done anything to help them his mom places her hand over his and tells him that he is priceless and that she loves him very much she tells him to tell the teachers that he is getting these messages and that they may be able to help him stop them afterward a knock at the door draws his moms' attention she pushes her chair out and walks into the passage to open the front door when she does uncle Todd pushes past her into the kitchen he sits in a chair beside Natasha, and he pulls out some dancing shoes from a bag he had been carrying and gives them to Natasha she squeals rushing out of the room returning minutes later wearing them she runs into his arms giving him a big hug she then thanks him for the gift then leaves the room you can hear her bounding up the stairs to her room he then turns to Jason pulling out a book he slides it across the table to Jason and tells him he knows he likes to right so thought that he might like this Jason smiles accepting the gift he then shakes Todd's hand then leaves the room to his room. Todd then turns to his sister, calling her by her name Marie I know we aren't on the best of terms but please can we fix this it isn't fair on the kids she viciously slides her chair out leaving the room he waits a few minutes then she returns she sits beside him again and tells him she will forgive him for the kid's sakes but he better not screw up again otherwise she will break his arm he gulps a little but nods he then goes in for a hug which she allows he then says that he is glad to have his big sister back she smiles squeezing him tighter they then both release each other she then leaves the room shouting up to Jason and Natasha telling them that they should leave for school now otherwise they will be late she then goes back into the kitchen chatting with her brother around five minutes later Jason and Natasha come down the stairs walking into the kitchen Marie stands up wrapping both of them in hugs kissing each of their foreheads she then sits back down and Todd next gives them both a hug he tells them to have a great day they say bye and leave for school they walk to Jason's car and drive around to Christians house to pick him up when they arrive he is sat at his doorstep with his Mom waiting for them Natasha gets out of the car as soon as they have parked rushing up to Christian giving him a big hug Christians Mom pulls both of them into a hug when she sees Jason approach she releases them and wraps him into a hug he puts his arms around her and says hi Mrs parkers she keeps him in the hug for a few minutes before releasing him she then tells Christian not to be late home because they are going out to celebrate his dads work promotion he says OK Mom giving her one more hug telling her he loves her then walks beside Natasha to the car she turns to Jason asking him if he will keep an eye on Christian for her because he has been acting really weird lately Jason nods and says he will then walk to his car waving to Mrs Parkers as he goes when he gets into his car he starts it up and begins his drive to school when they arrive he tells Natasha to go on ahead with Christian she hugs him then runs into the school building with Christian hot on her heels Jason stands there for a few minutes when someone puts their hands over his eyes and asks him to guess who he sighs then say's really Sasha she giggles removing her hands from his face she then pushes him against her car where they begin to kiss she then takes his car keys and asks him if they should take this inside he says yes she unlocks his car and they both pile into the backseat passionately kissing until she tugs at his clothes they both begin to undress then she pushes him down sitting on top of him she tells him that she is in charge, and he will do as she says he nods.

Around 30 minutes later they both get dressed and rush out of the car to get to class after being over half an hour late on their way there they bump into Mr Clarke who looks at them both in disgust he tells them that they are to report to detention after school for being both tardy and late for school they both nod and go their separate ways to class he rushes into his English lesson where Mrs Jones is stood at the front of the class preparing to give out worksheets he apologizes for being late then takes a seat the rest of the day flies by in a blur and its finally time for detention he walks to the room he has been given but bumps into a girl she gives him the stink eye then walks off he notices she accidentally left her locker open he slightly opens it and finds out her name is Karol he then enters the dentention room.
