3 days later, after the zombie horde has moved past the town, Pamela and Ray stand outside a clothing shop with a bag full of clothes they have managed to find he turns to Pamela and asks her if she has given up hope on finding Jason she turns to him and tells him that she gave up a while ago after finding his necklace with blood around it, she just didn't want to tell the others the news because she knows how much he means to a lot of them she then swiftly changed to subject pointing to the ring box in his pocket she asks him when he is going to go for it, he tells her that after everything that has been going on now just doesn't feel like the right time to do it, so he is going to wait until everything as been sorted out she looks at him and tells him that tomorrow isn't guaranteed and that if he never gets the chance to propose he will regret it, later on, he stares down at the pocket with the ring box in it then back up to her, he asks her why she knows this she tells him that she actually proposed to her wife in the hospital they were together for about 15 years, and they were both 13 when they met and after that she just can't remember a time she didn't love her she then tells him that when they went to the hospital together that day they weren't expecting she was diagnosed with a Terminal illness Ray asks her what the disease was if she didn't mind him asking she tells him that Oksana had Lung disease when they found it out she did everything she could to allow Oksana to do all the things she wanted to do before she was hospitalized after that everything drastically changed she then got an engagement ring and proposed, and it was the best feeling when she said yes after that she got an officiant to come and do the wedding it was the best thing ever but around 7 months later she died of respiratory failure Ray stands there moved by her story she then tells him that now is a better time to do it then any otherwise he might regret it he nods and walks away bumping into Karol, Andi and Sasha who are all making their way to Pamela they ask her how much stuff she was able to find she opens her bag showing the clothes then tells them that Ray has the other she then whispers to them that he also got a special outfit for himself for when he proposes to Danny they all turn and look at Danny standing with Natasha and Sally talking they then turn back to Pamela and tell her that they managed to find a decent amount of food in the stores around here she nods to them and tells them they should get back to the building they all begin walking together keeping an eye on Christian and Ella who keep stopping to pick things up.

Jason and Todd, after finding another car, are driving around the outskirts of the city when Todd tells him that it might be best to leave the city for another state Jason turns to him anger seething within him, and tells him that they can't just leave Natasha Todd tells him that she has the others she is safe, and it's best for them if he moves on Jason sits there quiet for a few minutes then asks him even if he wanted to do that how would they be able to make it, so they don't come looking for him Todd tells him that he is going to have to fake his death, so they never suspect a thing Jason thinks about it but tells him no Todd tells him that he has to think about Natasha if Jason doesn't do this Natasha will always rely on him and that could lead to him getting them both killed after hearing that the hurt flickers across Jason's face, but he ultimately agrees to do it they both sit in the car while Todd tells him the plan of how they are going to do it Jason also asks him how they are supposed to find them, but Todd quickly answers it before he can finish telling him that the horde of zombies they saw in the street where most likely there because of the group so all they have to do is go there and fake the death then leave.

Alyssa and Charlie finally decide to talk about what has been happening between them the last few weeks, she tells him that she does love him but feels he was no longer committed to the relationship and had to put their child first, he tells her that he understands and wants to help her with their child but would also like to be with her, she closes the distance with him kissing him when Alexander bursts through the door and tells them that Adelaide has returned and that they must go and greet her all three of them quickly rush to the gates where Adelaide is waiting she tells him that she found out about another civilization while she was away they are called the Warhead republic she tells him that they are fierce people and could destroy them in seconds with how they are now she tells Alexander that he needs her help he tells her that Tiger is second in command, and she will listen to what he has to say she whistles and a man and women both step forward to stand beside her, she then introduces them as Quella the woman steps forward Alexander stands there confused and asks her if she is serious Quella tells him that she chose this name because it means to kill and anyone who messes with her ends up dead Adelaide then asks the man to introduce himself the man steps forward and introduces himself as Alvah which means Evil she then asks them to tell the others to come out three more people come out of the van another women and two men they each introduce themselves one of the men calls himself Merikh which means death and slaughter the other man is called Mrithun which means lord of death the last woman steps forward swinging two blades in each hand she tells him that she is Jemisha the queen of darkness, and she will devour anyone who opposes her into darkness Alexander stumbles backwards clearly taken aback he then turns to Adelaide and asks her who these people are she smirks at him and tells him that they are some friends she made along the road to help her with something she then grabs her gun lifting it up pointing it at him, he quickly does the same her friends having now moved over holding guns to his guards heads as well as Alyssa and Charlie Adelaide tells him to drop the gun he does so obediently then Jemisha quickly grabs his arms tying his hands behind is back then tying some rope around is shoulder for safe measure he stares daggers into Adelaide's eyes, but she just laughs at him, she tells him that he is weak she then nods to Quella and Merikh who snap both the guards necks she then tells Alvah and Mrithun to release Alyssa and charlie who she tells to pledge their loyalty now or die both quickly pledge their loyalty and stand by her as they walk in through the doors she quickly shouts that she is now in charge then shows a now tied and gagged Alexander to everyone who quickly kneels in front of her she tells them to rise she spots Avery in the crowd and asks him where Tiger is he tells her that he is on the roof she nods telling him to leave he quickly moves away she then turns to Quella and Jemisha and tells them where the prison cells are and tells them to lock Alexander up the both nod and lead him away she tells the boys to ensure loyalty is shown otherwise kill them the three of them nod then walk away she makes her way to the roof where she sees Tiger looking out over the city she whistles at him, and he turns around happy to see her she quickly runs into his arms he kisses her passionately he tells her how much he has missed her then asked her if it's done she tells him she has imprisoned Alexander and taken over The compound he smirks telling her he knew she could do it he then tells her that Pearl returned a few days ago with two people he tells her that Pearl vouched for the women Gertrude, but they tied and imprisoned the man she nods then tells him she has work to do he nods, and she walks back down the stairs bumping into Gertrude she asks her who she is Gertrude introduces herself and tells Adelaide that she is here to help kill some people that have been causing inconvenience for them both she also tells Adelaide that she has a civilization with her sister Sloane and is willing to create an alliance between both their and The compound Adelaide nods and tells her that she will think about it afterwards she meets with Jemisha who leads her to the cells where a still tied up and gagged Alexander sits tied to a chair in his cell he wriggles around until he sees her he then gives her his angry face, but she laughs at him, she then moves over to the next cell where Aiden stands hands tied behind his back she asks him who he is he tells her that he is with Gertrude she stands there debating what to do then tells Jemisha to just leave both of them like this and go get Alvah to come keep guard she then walks out of the room with Jemisha to Aiden screaming for them to release him.
