Jason takes a deep breath then walks into the detention room where he is greeted by Mrs. Jones who was standing at the door waiting for him to arrive afterwards she closes the door tells him to take a seat she then tells all the other kids to introduce themselves boy at the back of the room shouts what's up I'm Dalton and a girl stays quiet Mrs. Jones says that's Lara she tends not to talk but moving on who is next Sasha just says I'm Sasha another girl sat next to a boy says she is Sally and that the boy was her twin brother Samuel. Jason asks why he has to be here, and Mrs. Jones tells him that he did it to himself by coming to school 30 minutes late he responds by saying that he was running late while trying not to look at Sasha who he could tell was looking at him Mrs. Jones told him it was tough luck, and that he was just going to have to deal with it, so he sighs opening up his book and begins to read, but Sasha kept whispering his name he turned to face her and asked her what she told him that she has a plan to get out of detention but is going to need his help he tells her he doesn't want to get into any more trouble and goes back to reading his book she kicks his chair trying to get his attention, but he just ignores her then Lara who is sat next to him begins to whisper telling him that she is getting ready to throw stuff at him Jason quickly turns around and tells Sasha to back off she sticks her hands up in surrender and opens her book Dalton at the back begins to snicker at the exchange between them when Sasha turns around kicking him in the shin and tells him to shut his hole he quietly opens his book as Sasha had told him she then turns to the twins at the end of her table and asks them to borrow a pen Sally tosses her a red pen where Sasha begins to write a bunch of stuff in one of her exercise books then stops looking at Jason staring sadly at his book she sighs Jason sticks his hand up and tells Mrs Jones that he was supposed to drop his sister home from school and that she is most likely waiting for him, she says that she wishes she could help him, but Mr Clarke will have her head if she lets him leave a scream then comes from the corridor that's then swept away by silence Mrs Jones walks to the door opening it Jason stares out into the corridor full view of what's going on that's where he sees Mr Clarke biting into a students neck ripping flesh with his teeth he quickly turns to everyone and tells them what is going on they all rush to the door looking at the tragedy Mrs Jones slowly creeping towards Mr Clarke she asks him what he is doing he slowly looks up locking eyes with her nothing but death in his eyes he slowly lifts himself up and begins to limp towards her, she slowly backs away but stops when they student behind him also begins to rise following him to her, she quickly kicks him in the chest knocking him into the other student she tells Jason and the others to run which they all do with her following close behind Dalton is the first to break the silence saying that this is a bit like those movies, but Sasha tells him to shut up he tells her to shut up back they all run towards the exit chaos around them, but Jason stops slowly backing away from the door he turns to walk back towards the main hall Sasha stops asking him where he is going he tells her that if Natasha and Christian are still here he can't just leave she tells him that she will go with him, he says OK that's when everyone else says they can help too Mrs Jones stops to do a head count noticing that Dalton is missing she turns towards the double door exit where he can be seen bolting it out of the school car park not even looking back once she turns back to the rest of the kids specifically Samuel telling him that she is going to take him and the rest of the kids to her office and lock them in until she returns with Jason and Sasha she also tells him he is in charge while she is gone she tells Jason and Sasha to hide in one of the classrooms while they wait for her, they nod walking down a hall towards a classroom but something grabs Sasha from behind with instinct Jason grabs a tray from one of the shelves smacking the person across the face knocking them to the floor when they both look this person had bite marks over their body and their intestines hanging out Jason quickly smashed the tray into the Zombies face multiple times crushing its skull into pieces afterwards they enter one of the rooms barricading it with a table they both sit at the back of the room holding hands until a knock at the door alerts them they walk towards the door looking through the class in the middle of the door Jason gasps when he sees that its Natasha and Christian he quickly pulls the table away from the door allowing them access once they are in he pushes the table back towards the door he pulls Natasha into a hug she cries in his arms before collapsing to the floor telling him she accidentally killed someone he kneels down to her, so he is face level with her, he tells her that it wasn't a person she killed but was rather something wanting to kill her he also tells her that the movies they used to watch together with zombies that's what this is she gasps and says, so she did a good thing he nods then stands back up asking Christian if he is OK he says he is fine but honestly just wants to get out of here and go home Jason tells them that they are just waiting on Mrs Jones to come back to them then they can leave they wait 2 hours and still nothing, so Jason removes the table from the door and tells everyone to follow him closely behind Sasha tells him she will hold Christians hand and Natasha hold Jason's that way if they get split up they aren't alone Jason nods Grasping Natasha's hand they all walk to Mrs Jones office where they find the door smashed to bits and a puddle of fresh blood and zombie bodies on the floor they look away deeply saddened at what could be their friends blood he then tells them that they are going to have to leave without them, they all make their way to the car pack slowly with Jason and Sasha taking out any Zombies in their path once they make it to Jason's car they get in and begin the drive to his house.
