Jason wakes up from his sleep at around 6 am and begins to prepare to leave everything he has ever known before, he packs any food from the fridge and cupboards that could be of use as wells as clothes water bottles a lighter, and a small radio that was his dads before he passed away it's been around 2 hours, and he has finally packed everything when his sister's bedroom door opens, and she walks out into the hall rubbing at her eyes she looks at the bag in his hand and asks him what he is doing he tells her that he is preparing for them to leave the city because it's just not safe here any more she asks him if she can take her pictures with Mom and dad with her, she tells her that she can, she then tells her that they will be leaving in a couple of hours so anything she wants she will need to pack into a bag of her one she nods then walks back into her room closing the door behind her after waiting a few minutes he walks back into his room and sits on the chair by his desk he pulls out his key unlocking his safe where he pulls out his diary reading through the pages until he hears moving from behind him, he quickly spins the chair around where Sasha is sat up on the bed watching him in silence he asks her what's up, and she tells him she was just thinking about everything that had happened over the last day and in thankful to have a boyfriend like him, he stands up from the chair and walks over to her grasping her hand then tells her that he wouldn't want to be with anyone else going through this he then tells her that they are leaving the city today and that anything she may need they can find in store's on the way out she tells him that she should be fine but may need a few shirts he then stands up walking out the bedroom door to knock on Todd's room he waits a few seconds before opening the door to find it empty he rushes down the stairs and finds the barricades from the front door moved with the front door wide open he runs at the door to close it, but 3 zombies stumble in just before he reaches the door he slowly backs away from the door walking towards the kitchen they continue to follow him at a slow pace he reaches the side of one of the cabinets he quickly looks around trying to find a weapon to arm himself with, but he has already packed all the knives into one of the bags in the living room he watches as one of the zombies makes it into the kitchen making his way towards him, he stands there motionless waiting for the inevitable when something smashes into the zombie from behind knocking it to the floor Sasha kneels down clutching the zombies head with her hands and begins smashing the zombies head against the floor until it lies motionless of the floor she grabs Jason's hand and runs into the living where the other 2 zombies are lying dead she grabs a few of the bags while Jason grabs the rest they both call up the stairs to Natasha and Christian telling them they have to leave now a few minutes after both come running down the stairs a bag each on their backs they all run out the front door making a break for the car while looking around for any signs of Todd but with ultimately no luck of seeing him anywhere they jump into the car starting it and drive off on their way out of the city.
In a small cottage in the countryside, Pamela sits in a chair reading through some letters her wife gave her over the years as they always wrote to each other about their feelings, and they would always sit and talk about it tears begin to stream down her face until Lara walks into the room where she quickly wipes at her tears away Lara asks her if she is OK Mrs. Jones says she is fine just remembering her wife Lara takes a seat on the opposite side of the table and asks her what happened to her wife Pamela tells her that she was killed in a car accident nearly three years ago, but it's not a day she doesn't miss her very much she sits there in silence for a few minutes then asks Lara if she has anything else she would like to know Lara says that if Pamela doesn't mind her asking what was her wife called Pamela sits there smiling then tells her that she was called Oksana Lara stands up from her seat and walks over to Pamela wrapping her in a big hug after a moment of surprise Pamela reincorporates the hug they both pull apart after a couple of seconds when Sally and Samuel walk in beginning by saying they watched outside the window and saw nobody coming this way Pamela sits there wondering what could have happened to Jason and Sasha Samuel notices it and tells her that she need not worry as they looked very capable of taking care of themselves and that it is very likely they will see them again then a loud rumbling noise comes from outside they all rush to the window where a car has just pulled over a woman and man step out of the vehicle and begin to kiss the woman then screams his name oh Charlie kiss me again he obliges deepening the kiss he then pulls apart and tells her that they should probably get back to the big boss man before he kills them literally she clutches his hand asking him for a few more minutes he responds to her by saying Alyssa you know I can't, we can carry this on later she pouts but gives up they both jump back into the car look into the house window where Pamela and the kids have been watching then drive off.
