A couple of days after rescuing Jason and Karol leaving they all sit against a wall in the same building figuring out a plan when Mrs Jones clears her throat she stands and walks to the front of the room and tells them she has decided to leave them not because she wants to but because she has too her wife could still be out there and needs her, and she isn't going to leave the city without her Sasha tells her she will stay with her Jason grabs Sasha's hand asking her not to, but she tells him she loves him, but she thinks this is what she has to do she hopes this isn't the last time they see each other but if it is then she wishes him luck and hopes he manages to at least take care of the kids he pulls her into a kiss deeply saddened he tells her that he wishes her the best she removes her hand from his and stands up she turns to him and tells him that they should go on a break from each other for now because she doesn't want to hold him back and that if she comes back then they can continue they're relationship but if not then she wants him to be happy she hugs Natasha and Christian goodbye then exits the building with Pamela Everyone sits silently in the room until Sally breaks the silence telling them they can not stay here if anything the people that kidnapped Jason had any sense they would come back Lara sits there silently staring at a wall while Natasha, Ella and Christian sit in a corner talking to each other after a few minutes Jason stands up and tells everyone to get outside to his car Natasha looks at him weirdly saying wouldn't they have taken his keys he shakes his head and pulls out his keys they all walk out and pile into his car and begin to drive out of the city but find 2 girls battling with zombies continues to drive but looks in his rearview mirror sighs and spins the car around and stops it jumping out of the car and picks up a sharpened stick one of the girls dropped driving it into the back of the head of one of the zombies one of the other girls manages to roundhouse kick a zombie in the head knocking it to the floor she then pounces on the zombie and begins punching it in the face avoiding its teeth after a little while she slams its head to the floor a few times the head caving in after actually being able to see the girls face's he notices one of them is Karol from school that day he had detention she also recognizes him but walks past him and begins walking back towards the city the other girl stands rooted to the floor and waves at Jason saying her name is Andi Karol's younger sister she then runs after Karol Jason walks to his car jumps and begins driving side by side with the girls karol pretends they aren't there for a few minutes until Andi tells her to just listen to what he has to say Karol sighs and tells her she will do it but only for her, she then turns to face Jason, and he tells her that he can get a ride with them, they are leaving the city and can take both of them as well Karol looks around and tells him his car only fits 7 people not 8 he tells her that it can actually fit 8 because of how small some passengers are she stands there thinking then asks him why he wants to help them he tells her that he would hope someone would do the same for him, she sighs then gets into the car with Andi who begins talking with Natasha she while Karol jumps into the front with Jason she asks him why he is leaving the city he tells her that there were originally 2 more members of their group, but they split not long ago but is thinking of going back for them in a couple of weeks.
Danny and Ray begin their plan earlier than expected and try to escape, sneaking through quiet area's of the compound until they bump into one of the guard's who asks them what they are doing, Danny swiftly dispatches of him by slamming her handgun into the side of his head knocking him out they finally make it to the garage and take keys to one of the cars she gets into the car with ray beside her and starts the engine she slams her foot onto the on the gas peddle and begins checking the car then begins driving really fast ripping the garage door of its hinges on impact she makes a beeline for the gate that had been opened to let another car in she doesn't slow down and the guards dive out of the way giving her a free exit she drives through the gates not slowing down behind her Charlie, Alyssa and Tiger stand on a balcony watching it unfold Tiger smirks then begins laughing he turns to Charlie and tells him that the best thing to happen to him today is that because now his sister is dead Charlie smiles and tells him that he never really loved her and that he hopes she dies Tiger pats his back and walks into the building closing the door behind him Alyssa walks up to Charlie and takes his hand Charlie slumps into a chair clearly defeated he looks up at her and asks her if he can really just sit by and let them kill his sister she looks at him deep in the eye's and tells him that he shouldn't let this happen she agrees with Alexander and Tiger to an extent but killing unnecessarily is where she draws the line he hugs her then turns and walks back into the building walking past Alexander on the way she watches locking eye's with Alexander he asks her what's up with Charlie, and she just shrugs.
Back in town, Sasha and Pamela walk through the streets in silence until Sasha asks Pamela where they are going to start searching Pamela tells her she lied about her wife Sasha stops looking at her confused Pamela then tells her she did have a wife, but she died a few years ago but the reason she stayed behind is that she needs to figure out a way to stop the men, so they don't hurt the kids Sasha tells her that she will help her no matter what.
Jason stares out a window in a cabin and turns to face Karol and Andi and tells them that he has a change of plans he is going back to the city and is going to find the people that kidnapped him, and he is going to kill them and that he doesn't expect them to help him Karol instantly says she is going to help because she doesn't want anyone else to go through that Andi also agrees.
Danny and Ray sit in an abandoned restaurant when Danny stands up and tells Ray that she did say she was going to find a way to kill them all, and she is not backing down from it, she then walks out of the building, Ray follows behind.
Sasha and Pamela now getting ready to sleep in an apartment building sit talking until Sasha tells Pamela that not only is she going to help her with the bad people, she is going to kill them.
