"She's waking up!" Brooke heard Sam say.
"B waaake up, B's wakin up. Beeee waake UP!" She heard Colly sing.
As Brooke slowly opened her eyes, she saw everyone surrounding her bed.
"Brooke! You're awake!" Sam said with joy.
"Oh thank heavens, I was so worried." Joan said as she hugged Floyd.
"B! I made you uh drawing." Colly said as she handed Brooke a paper with a giant stick figured woman painted on it.
"Das you" she continued while smiling.
"Thank you," Brooke said taking it.
"But she wasn't breathing.. she's dead." Floyd said to them confusedly.
"No dear, she no longer needs to breathe. She's become our new God." Joan told him.
Brooke looked at them as she was very confused.
"Ok dear, it's time for you to get up. Time to use your gift to help the others." Joan said as she gathered everyone.
"What others?" Brooke asked when a larger group of people began to fill the apartment.
"The rest of the world, sweetie. We all need you." Joan said as everyone stared at Brooke.
Brooke was confused. She saw everyone's eyes begin to turn completely white. They stood there watching her like zombies.
"What's going on?" Brooke asked.
"She don't remember!" Colly said to the others.
"You're our creator, Brooke." Sam said with a firm voice.
"Through the trance you recreated the earth.. the universe... and us." Joan told her.
Brooke knew something wasn't right.
"How could I have done that?" Brooke asked them.
"You have the gift sweetheart, remember? You wanted to reinvent your life and yourself.. here we are. Now the earth is going to war between good and evil, and we need your help, Brooke. You are God." Joan told her as the room began to shake.
Brooke rose from the bed as she began to feel a light shining through her... she was fading away.
"No.. I don't want to be God! I'm can't be.. Please help me!" Brooke told them as they all stood and watched their leader being destroyed.
"No... no! Please, someone.. anyone, help me!" Brooke yelled as she saw herself disappearing.
Everyone in the room cheered as their leader sacrificed herself for them.
Brooke was gone. Everyone and everything began to disappear. All became nothing but light.Suddenly, Brooke appeared again.
She was standing in the middle of a lonely street. She walked to the sidewalk where she noticed a hole in the ground. It wasn't a hole someone dug, it was like a piece of the ground was missing. Where the hole took place, white showed through it. Brooke put her hand near it when a piece of the ground fell through as if there was something beneath it. Next to the new hole stood a single white rose. She stared at it before noticing a drop of blood fell from her eye and onto the flower. The single drop spread all around the petals of the rose, making it a dark shade of red. Brooke picked the flower from the ground before the ground began to shake as millions of pieces were breaking all around her. She fell through with the ground, falling down an endless dark abyss.
She fell until she was floating in space. She saw herself creating the earth and everything in it like she knew exactly what to do. It took a matter of seconds before creating everything. When she finished, she watched her people as they developed intelligence over millions and millions of years. Millions of years passed like seconds. She heard them speak to her. All at once, they pleaded to her. They needed help.. all were in pain.
"I will help all of you. You don't deserve to wait a lifetime for peace and power, I'll give you everything you need now... but how do I do that," Brooke thought to herself.
The people began to get angry at her, she wasn't helping them. They started to escape the earth and began attacking her. They climbed all over her as she tried to fight them off. She couldn't handle so much of them. She continued fighting them off like bees attacking a homewrecker as she cried."Brooke, sweetie... It's ok, it's ok. Please, come back to bed. You need your rest." Nona said as she tried to calm her down while taking her back to bed in her apartment.
"Is B ok now, Nona?" Colly asked her.
"No sweetheart, not yet. The doctor says she just needs a little more rest. I have to keep an eye on her so why don't you go and play in the living room, alright sweetie?" Nona asked Colly before she skipped out to the other room.
Brooke went to sleep as Nona sat by her bedside.
"Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry this had to happen to you. I only wanted you to move here with me so you could get better. I want to help you but you have to be willing to help yourself first." Nona told Brooke as she slept.
"I know it's not that easy, but I can help you with your addiction.. we can work together. But you need to realize that you need to stop doing drugs, baby. They're damaging your brain even worse. The doctor said it's extremely dangerous to do drugs under your condition. I don't know what else to do, Brooke." Nona said as she began to cry.
She left the room and closed the door behind her.
"Are you alright, Miss Nona?" Sam asked after meeting her in the hallway.
"Yeah, I'll be fine.. I just don't know if Brooke ever will." Nona said while crying. They both walked to the kitchen together.
"You know, you're so sweet for being such a great friend to Brooke. She wasn't always like this. When she was younger, she used to be so happy... like any other normal child. But after her mother died, she just went down this horribly dark path. The doctors say she's already passed mental insanity. She had no one to turn to, so she turned to drugs... slowly surpassing her sanity. And now I'm losing her.. my poor angel. I don't know what else there is for me to do." Nona told her breaking down into tears.
Sam hugged her as Colly played quietly in the living room.
Brooke stood there in the hallway looking at what has become reality. She closed her eyes and cried as she fell to the ground.
