Her Torment

"Babe?" James said, coming into the living room.

"Yeah?" Lily responded.

"Have you seen my invisibility cloak?"

"No I haven't, but have you seen Harry?"

James's eyes widened. Ast took a long sip of tea, watching the scene unfold in front of her.

Realisation dawned on Lily's face, "YOU LOST HARRY?"

"He was in this room last time I saw him!"

"Oh, that helps!"

"He's just probably under the cloak,"

"HE'S WHAT?"

James's smile fell and terror filled his face. Ast took another long sip of tea. James and Lily began rummaging around their living room looking for Harry. When they couldn't seem to find him, Ast sighed and stood up.

She lifted her wand and said, "What did you two study magic for? Revelio!"

A swooshing noise was heard and Harry appeared under the coffee table. His glasses were askew and he was clutching a stuffed owl in his hand. He giggled, knowing that he had been found. James and Lily breathed a sigh of relief.

"What are you doing down there you silly sausage?" Ast cooed, pulling Harry up and carrying him in her arms.

Harry giggled again and reached for her ring, she pulled it out of his reach. Harry then turned to yank Ast's hair. She but back a yelp as she removed her hair from his claws.

"He's gonna be just like his dad," James said. "You're going to cause a lot of trouble aren't you?"

James reached and tickled under Harry's neck. Harry giggled again.

"What about me?" Lily asked. "He's going to be an angel."

"Yeah but-"

"I think that you're forgetting that Ast and I are his godparents, he'll be the best child anyone could ever wish for," Sirius interrupted.

"Yeah but both of you are reckless at the best of times," Remus commented.

"Shut it Moony, it's not like you're not one of us too,"

"Yeah but unlike you, I do it against my will, you two do it on impulse."

"Well you seem to love it. You did put a ring on it after all." Ast winked at Remus, causing him to roll his eyes.

"Right," James said, slapping his knees, "we should be off. Sirius, I'm afraid to say it but Harry's yours for the evening."

"What? You can't be serious." Sirius said.

"No," Ast began.

Sirius's face dropped, "don't you dare,"

"You're Sirius."

He squinted his eyes at her and stuck out his tongue. James took Harry off of Ast and handed him to Sirius. It was his turn to babysit Harry. They all wished Sirius good luck and then headed to The Order of the Phoenix headquarters. It was chaos when they arrived.
