Chapter 2: Confrontation

With a chaotic surrounding comprised of debris e destroyed cars, Jupiter and Ryuuji stood, intensely staring at one another, each one waiting for the other to make the first move. In the background, not a single sound was to be heard as the police force had been taken down along with the S.W.A.T teams that came with them, and the Hoshi soldiers were all out of commission as well.

"Quite a lot of confidence in your words, worm. Too bad that you won't live to say them again" - said Ryuuji still in his stance with his fire blazing in his hands.

"Try your might, firecracker" - said Jupiter as he looked to prepare for any incoming blows.

As soon as Jupiter finished speaking, an explosion occurred in the space where he and Ryuuji were. Jupiter jumped back from the smoke, and right after him came Ryuuji driving forward with a flaming right hook that Jupiter swiftly dodged.

Following that were a flurry of hooks, swings, lunges, and kicks that Jupiter either parried or dodged. With each blow that missed, Ryuuji got visibly angrier, sloppier and yet he also seemed to be hitting much harder.

Jupiter caught Ryuuji's left wrist, then his right wrist and lifted both his own feet to dropkick Ryuuji in the chest, using it as a springboard to backflip and create some space between them.

"Goddamn annoying worm, I'M DONE PLAYING YOUR LITTLE DODGE GAME " - roared Ryuuji as the fire in his hands intensified. Jupiter didn't retort, opting to scope out his opponent's next move. Ryuuji slouched into a stance with his legs partly bent forward, bringing his hands level with his hips and charging fire into balls in each hand.

"Take this, Dragon Bomb" - Said Ryuuji as he threw one of the fireballs at Jupiter who dodged to the left and was mildly surprised by the explosion that followed. Unfortunately for him, he took his eyes off Ryuuji who appeared right in front of him with another fireball aimed at his chest.

B O O O O O O O O O O O O O O M M!

An explosion soon followed and smoke covered the area. As the smoke started to clear, Ryuuji could be seen standing with his arm outstretched and Jupiter had collided with a building and had visible scorch marks on his shirt and pants.

"That was impressive. Now, it's my turn! - said Jupiter as he jumped into a low crouch with his feet joined and then charged at full speed towards Ryuuji with lightning bolts covering his entire body.

Ryuuji tensed and reacted quickly by throwing more fireballs into Jupiter's path but they were swiftly dodged and Jupiter managed to hit him with a heavy gut punch from an electrically-charged fist that lifted him slightly into the air.

"THUNDER BULLET" - roared Jupiter as he opened his fist and a bullet-shaped lightning projectile exploded upon Ryuujin's stomach, projecting him a few meters away into the air.

"LIGHTNING HAMMER" - said Jupiter as he closed the distance between and with his hands clasped together, charged with electricity, smashed them against Ryuuji's mask covered face.

CRAAAAAAAAAASHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Ryuuji groaned from the pain of the blows he received and proceeded to take off what remained of his shattered mask, revealing his face. A pair of black eyes, a pointed nose and angular jaw were now visible as his face contorted into an enraged expression.

"You're truly an annoying pest. I don't have anymore time to waste on you" - said Ryuuji in his calm rage as he extended both his arms forward and charged up a massive fireball.

"That's not gonna work again" - said Jupiter as he charged lightning projectiles in both hands and immediately threw them at Ryuuji.

"Let me see you burn, pest. DRAGON KING'S ROAR" - shouted Ryuuji as he unleashed a potent fire blast that engulfed Jupiter's bullets and quickly found it's way to him, resulting in a ground-shaking explosion.

With so much destruction caused already by the two warriors, the amount of debris on the scene of the battle was increasing. And as the smokescreen created by Ryuuji's technique disappeared, Jupiter could be seen in a shallow crater, protecting himself with a barrier but looking slightly fatigued.

As for the red-headed, black-eyed commander named Ryuuji, he was nowhere to be found.
