"S-Sam, Sam...~"

He could hear the voice so clearly, below him, needing him, him...Something was off, hadn't he just fallen asleep? He remembered so clearly that he had, right next to Felix too.

Slowly, he opened his eyes, and the noise was gone. Instead, an aching feeling was left in his abdomen, something that hadn't come to him in a long while. He felt almost lucky that he had been laying on his stomach.

Fuck.

Locus glanced around the room, and Felix was nowhere to be seen. The voice had clearly been his, unless his brain had really taken the chance to fuck with him. He was trapped on the bed, well, unless he wanted to walk around and show himself off, which he very much didn't want to do. If he ignored it, it was sure to go away, right?

He shut his eyes, forcing himself to think of other things. How in two weeks they'd be on their way to the next planet for more food, more supplies. How they're both stuck with each other till Felix decided to live his own life. How Felix, even after learning what Locus had done to him, still decided to leave with him, how- This wasn't working.

Groaning, he shoved his face into the pillow. Where the hell even was Felix? Normally he was never near the front of the A'rynasea, always hanging out in the bedroom. Unless...

He hoped to god that Felix didn't witness his poor excuse of a wet dream.

"Fe- Isaac?" Locus called out, almost cursing himself out for making the mistake of names again. There was no reply.

Looking down, Locus checked himself before sighing. He'd use the blanket method instead.

He got up, pulling the blanket off the bed with him, and promptly wrapped it around his body as if he were sick and needed the warmth. It wasn't the smartest thing he's done, but it was something that worked at the least.

"Isaac?" He once more called out, trudging out of the room and towards the front.

Still, no answer, but, there was the soft sound of a snore. He sighed in relief. Besides, where would Felix even go? There was no little escape shuttle on the A'rynasea, hell, there was nowhere Felix could go that Locus wouldn't be either.

He ended up finding Felix taking solace underneath the navigation desk, papers on his lap while one or two fell to the floor beside him. He probably didn't want to bother Locus and ended up coming up here...

A small frown formed at the thought as he reached a hand out to pick up one of the fallen papers. A part of him knew it wasn't his place to look at them, but he was curious.

On the paper, there were a few small things. He could recognize the fountain they had seen in Elysium, what they had eaten the day before, and...And himself.

It wasn't on the paper he held, but glancing over to the ones him Felix's lap, he could see it. There was a sketch of him, sleeping, a sketch of them in the store the first day they were there, looking for clothes for him, even a sketch of him sitting at the table when they were eating lunch.

There were a few more near the bottom of the page that he couldn't see, so he carefully leaned closer to get a peek.

"Mhh..? Sam?"

Shamefully, Felix had startled him, causing him to jump back away from him as quick as he could. In doing so, he ended up slamming his head against the bottom of the desk.

"F-Fuck!"

"Sam are you okay? Holy shit."

Locus sat back against the floor, his hands cradling his head as Felix hurried to check on him.

"I'm fine, I'm fine-"

"If you were fine you wouldn't be covering your damn head. You scared the fuck out of me, but you don't see me hitting my head, huh?" He was being scolded as if he were some damn child. Locus huffed, removing his hands despite the throbbing pain now in his skull.

Felix pulled Locus's head towards him so he could check on him, carefully brushing away his hair to see if any marks were left. Locus would rather die than admit it, but having the other's fingers in his hair felt...rather nice.

"Fuck, it's just red for now but I wouldn't be surprised if you end up getting a bump with how hard you hit the desk," Felix grumbled, gently rubbing the spot Locus had hit before pulling back to look him in the eye. "What the hell were you doing anyway? You're too big to be under there."

"I was just checking on you...You weren't there when I woke up..."

"Aw, I didn't think you would need me there." Felix laughed, and Locus could feel his face heat up im embarrassment. Felix's hands moved to cup Locus's face, squishing it slightly in his touch, "I'm just joking, I should've left a note or something...even though I can't go anywhere other than another part of this ship." He chuckled, shaking his head a bit at the ridiculousness.

Locus couldn't even find the words to respond. It was stupid, and he was being stupid. How could he just expect Felix to be there? He wasn't, shouldn't, be acting so needy.

Felix leaned up, pressing his lips against the top of Locus's head.

He could feel himself tense up, feel his heart start to pound against the barrier that was his own chest. He just knew that his face was as red as it could turn.

"There, so your head can feel better, c'mon, let's pick something out of the bags to eat, I'm kind of hungry." Felix laughed, standing up and walking towards where they had kept the bags of food.

Felix was going to be the death of him, it was as clear as day. He was acting as if he had an elementary school crush, and it was because of Felix.

Then it had hit him. This wasn't anything new, was it? Maybe it had always been there, and he just tucked it away because it would have been a sign of weakness to the Pre-fall Felix, something else for him to play with, for him to use. But now? Now that Felix was nicer, softer, more enjoyable, an actual person instead of a broken beyond-repair psychotic mess, it was starting to show.

He was fucked
