Once more, the blip on the A'rynasea's map caught his attention. After dropping Washington off at the hospital, he was on his way back to collect Felix. He may have been pissed off at him, but he wasn't just going to abandon him. So why had the male set off his tracker again?

Did something go wrong? Were they trapped again and needed his help? Locus sighed as he clicked the blip, and let the A'rynasea make its course.

---

No one was on the Island when he had arrived. Not a single red or blue. He checked the GPS once more, making sure he hadn't fucked up somehow along the way, but the GPS was insistent that Felix was here.

He shook his head a bit as he made his way up to the base. He hated how quiet it was, how no one was around to even tell him that Felix was okay. He should have taken him with, but with the urgency of Washington's condition, he didn't even let the thought cross his mind.

Now in the base, he checked the GPS again. He was close by and wasted no time in following the remaining directions given to him to get to Felix. His heart had slightly sunk when he saw that he was being led to the med-bay.

Looking inside, his breath hitched at Felix laying down on the cot. He wasn't...was he? Slowly, he approached, taking note of the bandages and blood on the male as he reached out to gently press a finger against his neck, feeling for his pulse. He was relieved when he felt it. Felix was just asleep.

He turned the other so he was on his back, looking at where the blood had come from.

Had he gotten himself shot? And if so...how recent was it?

"Isaac..." He muttered, sighing as he started to pick up the armor beside him. He lifted his head to put on his helmet for him after he had slipped on his chest piece. He didn't care if it wasn't the right way to wear it, he didn't even care that it looked stupid. It was just the easiest way to carry everything, including Felix, back to the ship to get the hell off the Island. Once that was finished, he set the gloves onto Felix's chest and bent down to pick him up, pausing when the smaller had let out a small whine at being moved.

A part of him felt guilty for not being there, but another part of him was angry at him for being there in the first place to get shot. If he had just listened to him, it wouldn't have happened.

---

Felix let out a gentle groan, using his arm to cover his face once he was consciously aware that that there was a bright light above him as he was trying to sleep.

"Good to see you're awake."

Locus...? That would mean...

Almost immediately Felix had tried to sit up, and just as quickly he was pushed back down by a much stronger force than he had used.

"Sam..." He pouted, looking down and noticing that he wasn't wearing any armor at all, or even his bodysuit. He was wearing a pair of Locus's clothing. "What...?"

"You know what was something I didn't know I didn't want to do when I came to pick you up?" Locus asked him, arms crossed over his chest as he sat at Felix's side on the bed.

Felix turned to look at him but looked away as soon as he did. He could tell Locus was still very much pissed off at him.

Locus hadn't waited for Felix to answer him as he continued, "Turns out I didn't want to carry you out of a shit-show of an infirmary while you were injured. Who would have known, right?"

Felix at that point just wanted to become one with the bed, to disappear.

"Now, how on Earth did you get yourself shot?"

He didn't want to answer, he knew Locus would only get more upset. At the same time though, he would get more upset if he didn't answer. It was a lose-lose for him either way.

"It was at the same time as Washington..." He mumbled, wincing as he turned over, his back facing Locus.

At the same time as Washington? The same time as Washington? Felix had been injured too and he didn't even realize? Not only that, but he left him while he was injured?

His hands clenched into fists, "Goddammit..." He said under his breath. "What the fuck were you thinking?"

"I just wanted to fucking help okay? I wanted to help! I didn't want to be left on the fucking ship, especially after everything beforehand I always went with you! You couldn't even give me a reason why, you just told me fucking no!"

Locus glanced at him, he clutched the blankets over him, to hide away from Locus.

"You took the fucking orange trooper before you even took me! Why did he get to go? What made him so special to go? You've been having me train this whole time and for what? Nothing?"

He just didn't want Felix to get hurt...

"I-I just don't understand...Not only that, but you ignored me the whole time, pushed me aside quite literally, and it wasn't even fair. Then, I was fucking left alone with the fucking troopers! I get it, Washington needed to get out of there, but you didn't even let me know how long you were going to be gone! I felt so out of fucking place with them, I just wanted you to come back..."

Locus sighed, shifting on the bed to be closer to Felix as he slightly tugged on the blanket, "Can you come out?"

"N-No, you're just going to yell at me..."

"I won't." He reassured, pressing a light kiss to where Felix's head was under the blanket, before trailing down to kiss his cheek, then his jaw.

That seemed to have worked as the blankets were pulled down for Locus to finally get a look at him.

He frowned, seeing that the other was red-faced as well as tear-stained.

"I'm sorry..." Locus muttered, cupping Felix's face in his hands and pecking him on the lips, "I just, I just didn't want you to get hurt while we were there. Despite the troopers being idiots, they've always pulled through, so when they get captured and send someone else in hopes of rescue, I just didn't want to risk it. I suppose it didn't matter anyway though."

"I'm not some fucking baby...I could've handled myself if you had let me come in the first place..." Felix huffed, rubbing at his eyes. He stood silent for a moment before he slumped a bit, "...I'm sorry too...I should've listened to you..."

"Looks like we're both at fault." The larger hummed, pressing more kisses to Felix's face, causing Felix's face to turn red for a completely new reason.

"Fucking sappp," Felix whined, playfully pushing Locus's face away from him, even if it wasn't working all that well.
