After their Locus's little brain-glitch on the floor, he took it upon himself to stay at the controls of the ship. There was no set destination, at least, not a specific one. He just wanted to get away from Chorus as soon and as far as he could.

"So, do you always wear your armor? Like, even to bed? Or do you take it off at some point?"

A hand was placed on his shoulder as Felix leaned over to look at what he was doing. He tensed under the touch, after all, those same hands rarely touched him so gently before.

"Why would you want to know something like that?"

Felix shrugged, squinting a bit to read some of the off-hand things on the holographic screen.
"M'just curious, that's all. With how much you worse your helmet, I could only imagine how long it must take for you to take your armor off."

"I only wear the armor to bed if I have to. Otherwise, I sleep like everyone else."

"Cool, cool." Felix hummed, leaning away and removing his hand from Locus's shoulder.

There was a sigh as he looked around the small interior of the A'rynasea. Thankfully he brought a bag of things to keep him busy, otherwise, he probably would have died with the cause being that of boredom.

"You might want to steady yourself somewhere, we're going to be leaving in a few minutes."

---

Upon the sight of the single, tiny bedroom on this ship, Felix sighed. Locus had allowed him to use the room to keep out of the way, but his mind wandered to other issues. Where was he even going to sleep when the time came to it? Maybe Locus would let him sleep upfront at the controls. At least he would have a nice little spot under the table, and he brought a blanket with him, so it wasn't like he wouldn't have anything to sleep with or keep him warm.

He plopped down on the edge of the bed, his bag slipping off his shoulder to hit the floor beside him. He brought as much as he could. His knives had been the first priority, tucked away safely in the front pocket of the bag.

His next priority had been his phone and charger.

Third? A bundle of papers he had rushed to grab on his way out of the Callahan home, and a few pens and pencils.

During his time in the hospital, he was given things to draw to keep his mind active and stimulated. He had found he was rather good at it, though he wasn't sure if it was just talent or if he had been some sort of artist beforehand. Though neither seemed true, maybe his skill had something to do with his job as a mercenary?

He shook his head at the thought and leaned down, opening his bag to take out his phone. He knew better than to think he would have any messages, but at least he would have some games to keep himself busy.

He could feel the ship jostle and hear the sound of the engines kicking in. They were finally leaving Chamber. He wanted to lay back onto the bed but had to settle for kicking off his shoes and curling up on his side to get comfortable.

He held the phone close to his face, tapping onto one of the games he had, and begun to play.

The little sounds of walking on grass and placing blocks could barely be heard from anywhere else on the ship.

---

"I just don't get the point behind this." Locus glanced to Felix, who watched him as he played the stupid game on his phone.

"The point is to survive, that's why it's called survival mode. If you just wanted to do jack-shit you should have picked creative instead."

How did this even happen? Locus remembered walking into the room to check up on Felix after they had left the planet's atmosphere, but then suddenly there he was, playing a game on Felix's phone while he watched.

"Dude what are you doing? You're getting shot at, you gotta get behind cover."

Locus grunted, trying to maneuver the controls as best as he could. His fingers were too big for the smaller controls on the phone screen, and so it was more difficult for him to play than it would be for Felix.

However, the way Felix would laugh at him got him the most. He sounded so happy. It wasn't one of his old, fake laughs, or any laugh that he would use to fit into the surroundings of their missions, it was just a genuine laugh. That's why he hadn't stopped playing. It was a new side of Felix he otherwise would have never been able to see.

Even back in their mercenary days, Felix kept a lot of himself to, well, himself. He talked so much about himself that any unsuspecting person wouldn't think of him hiding anything, but Locus could tell. Not at first, admittedly, but after a while, he had figured it out. There was a lot Felix was leaving out about himself. Though, now Locus would never get to know what those things were, seeing as Felix himself didn't know them either.

"Alright, it's getting dark so you have to get back to your base and sleep." Felix had instructed him. If it weren't for him, he probably would have never found his base after traveling that far away from it.

"After that, I have to go get food right?"

"Mhm, and once you get that you can go back out for more shit."

Maybe indulging in the game wasn't as bad as he had originally thought it was going to be.

It wasn't particularly exciting, but he could see why Felix would be into it. There was plenty of options on what you could do and gives him free roam to do with as he pleased.

It was definitely better than destroying a planet. A part of him amused himself at the thought of Felix being given the game to play. Would he have left with him after their ship crashed if he offered him the chance to destroy a planet in the game instead?

Probably not, but the thought was amusing enough.
