Ushijima's POV.
After everyone got a chance to go twice, Tendo and Ohira cleaned up the games before sitting back in the circle.
"What should we do now?" Goshiki wondered.
"Ushiwaka should pick," Tendo said smugly.
"I don't mind what we do," I shrugged.
The gym doors flew open, revealing an out of breath Iwaizumi. He put his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath. He closed his eyes.
"Aren't you the Ace of Aoba Johsai?" Semi asked. Yamagata elbowed him, and he groaned quietly.
"What's wrong?" Yamagata asked.
"Oikawa..." he panted. "They took...Oikawa."
"Who's 'they'?" Tendo asked, standing up in alert.
"I don't know. They just came out of no where. There were about twelve of them. They got me and Kyotani restrained and knocked out," he muttered.
Tendo walked closer to the panicked male, gently tugging him towards us after closing the door. He sat him down where he was previously sitting. Iwaizumi tried to regain his breathing and keep his head cool.
"When I woke up, I had ropes around my arms and torso; ropes around my shins and thighs; ropes around my wrists; and ropes around my ankles. They were gone, and so was Oikawa. Not to mention they put a gag in my mouth."
"Woah. Take a breath. Try to relax," Tendo soothed, rubbing his back. The former wing spiker's shoulders relaxed slightly. Hopefully because he was around comfort and not because he was told to.
"Are you hurt at all?" Semi questioned.
"I'm fine, but Oikawa-"
"It's okay. Oikawa is a strong dude. It will take much more than a kidnapping to break him," Tendo assured him.
"We'll find him as soon as there's light," I said.
"Where is Kyotani?" Yamagata questioned.
"Outside," Iwaizumi answered. Tendo left us, but he came back after a few minutes with Kyotani.
"I'll lock the gym doors," Tendo announced as he sat Kyotani beside Iwaizumi. The spikers sulked, clearly in pain after watching their captain getting kidnapped and not being able to do anything about it. "We'll think of a plan until we get going. But first, let's get a little rest. We will all definitely need it. This will be very exhausting."
"I just hope he's okay," Iwaizumi murmured. Their auras were full of depression and worry. They won't rest nor feel any better until they get their backbone back unharmed. Physically and mentally.
Tendo helped Ohiro, Goshiki, and Semi get out some things to sleep. They stretched their arms out to everyone, offering the covers and pillows. They gently smiled when they were giving the Ace of Seijoh and the outside hitter of Seijoh the things. Iwaizumi looked up at the covers, hesitantly taking the top one, and Kyotani mimicked his upperclassman.
"It'll be okay. We'll get your captain back," Yamagata promised. "We won't let anything bad happen to him longer than after we get to him."
"We're going to help, but we need to figure out where to even start looking," Ohiro told them gently.
"Captain..." Kyotani murmured to himself.
"We'll put them through hell, Kyotani," Iwaizumi promised, gripping the younger's shoulder.
"How will we get him back?"
"I don't know."
"Let's play a game," Tendo suggested. "To lighten the mood."
"I thought we were going to sleep," Goshiki said.
"Changed my mind," Tendo shrugged.
"What game?" Iwaizumi questioned skeptically. Tendo grinned.
"Whatever you think you're good at."
"I don't care," Kyotani muttered.
"Just play truth or dare or something," Iwaizumi rolled his eyes. Everyone paled and laughed nervously. "What?"
"That's exactly what we just played," I said.
"Ah." He looked around. "And how do you know if someone didn't tell the truth?" Goshiki, Shirabu, and Semi paled, turning away from our curious gazes and whistling innocently.
"How do you know they lied?" Yamagata asked.
"Just a hunch." The former Ace shrugged casually.
"Did you lie?" Tendo confronted them.
"Sorta?" Goshiki confessed quietly, shrinking.
"Which ones did you guys lie about?" Kawanishi wondered. Semi drew a triangle in the air, and everyone knew what he was talking about. We all turned to Goshiki. "Then who's actually dating who?"
"Me and Semi are actually dating," Shirabu blurted. Semi rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.
"Way to keep quiet, Shirabu," Semi scoffed.
"I can't help it. I don't like volleyballs to the face. And all of that information was Semi's explanation of how he felt about me."
"Zip it, Shir!"
"Aww...Semi Semi is embarrassed," Shirabu chuckled.
"Wait...then. who is Goshiki actually dating?" Kawanishi asked. The youngest paled a bit with a heavy blush. He scratched the back of his neck shyly.
"Uh...Koganegawa from Date Tech..." he whispered.
"Oh. I know him," Iwaizumi piped up.
"You should. You literally crushed him," Kyotani scoffed.
"Yeah, yeah," his upperclassman said, waving off his comment.
"Who is he?" I pondered. Tendo snorted, attempting to hold in a laugh.
"When I was a third year, he was a first year setter at Date Tech. Plus the newest addition to the Iron Wall," Iwaizumi explained.
"Oh," I said.
"Let's get some sleep now. That was an exhausting conversation," Goshiki huffed, standing to his feet and walking away to set up his bed.
"Yeah. Good night, everyone," Yamagata agreed, mimicking the other.
"Night," everyone chorused. We all set up our stuff before drifting into a slumber.
