Oikawa's POV.
Tendo insisted that we went on a double date. I was pumped to go until our boyfriends forced us to wear their volleyball jackets from high school. I am the one who resisted the longest since Iwaizumi gave up, claiming he didn't want to deal with his boyfriend's 'punishment' for defying him. Kinky excuse, Iwa-chan.
I sighed wrapping the open coat tighter around my body. It was colder than a while ago when I was out with Iwa. I guess it was good that I let Ushijima force me to wear this in the end. I guess this can be my indirect way of going to Shiratorizaowa.
Tendo and Ushiwaka were wearing hoodies. Tendo had on a grey one, and Ushiwaka had a black one on. And can we talk about how good he looked in it? Like holy shit.
"Good thing you wore it?" Tendo teased me as we walked into the restaurant. I rolled my eyes, walking to the hostess who seemed a bit frightened at the sight of all of us.
"I'm sorry. My friends are a bit scary looking on the outside, but they won't hurt you," I reassured with my famous smile and okay sign. I felt Iwa's murderous aura surround me, and I shivered in fear for my life. She beamed and basically drooled when I opened my eyes. "We'll take a booth if you don't mind."
"Of course not! Follow me!" She grabbed four menus and four sets of silverware, leading us to a booth next to the long window. "Will this work?" she asked, hesitating. She bit her lip 'shyly' in a 'seductive' manner. I nooded.
"Peachy," I smiled. She grinned, putting the stuff down before bowing and walking away with a wink. I let out a breath of relief and an eyeroll. "Finally," I muttered, scooting in first.
I knew Ushijima would keep me on the inside after what just went down with the hostess. He sat down after me, and I peered up at him expectantly. He, however, did nothing but pick up and read the menu silently.
I huffed, looking away from him. We were still a fairly new couple, so I'm sure this was normal. By the look Iwa gave me, I actually started second guessing that theory.
"Ushiwaka," Tendo called out in an accusing tone. I just looked out the window at the swaying trees. "Oikawa did nothing wrong. That was not his fault nor in his control."
"I don't care if you two are just a new couple. If you hurt my best friend, I'll kick your ass." I almost snickered because now I know that I'm not the only person he uses that threat on. "And if you let him treat you like that, be prepared to kiss a volleball." I jumped and looked at him with wide eyes. "That's right, Sulkykawa."
I pouted at him like a child, and he just smirked. Him and I started bickering about it, and we only stopped when our waitress came to get our orders and brought out our food.
Ushijima's hand suddenly on my thigh caused me to look at him in surprise. His lips locked with mine possessively, and I didn't know what took over him. I gasped when some of my team walked through the door: Yahaba, Kyotani, Watari, Matsukawa, and Hanamaki.
I pulled away with a heavy blush and covered my face in embarrassment. They saw. Oh my God they saw me kissing Ushijima. Well it wouldn't be hard to tell them we're dating now. Not at all.
"Ushi," I whined, burying my face in his shoulder as I heard their footsteps near us.
"Yo, Captain," Matsu teased.
"Having fun without us?" Maki asked.
"Shut up you stupid duo," I said.
"So mean," Matsu whined.
"Hey, Iwaizumi."
"Hey, Watari."
"Everyone's dating now, and I'm still single!" Watari scowled. I looked up from my boyfriend's shoulder to look at him.
"What about that Karasuno libero?" I quizzed. He rolled his eyes, but he was clearly upset.
"He's dating that Nekoma libero. I think his name was Yaku."
"And you're not fighting for him?"
"What the hell?" he exclaimed with a heavy blush. "If he's happier with that guy then he can be with him. I'm not his freaking mom. I can't tell him who he can and can't date. That's his problem, not mine."
"You're going to make someone a very happy guy, Watari," Iwa smiled. Tendo and Iwa got up, and Watari slid the whole way in, and then the other two returned to sitting. I grinned happily at my little libero.
Thankfully the booth was twice the size of a normal booth because it was in the corner. Matsu and Maki sat on my side while Yahaba and Mad Dog sat with Iwa and them.
"So," I started. "You guys come here often?" Watari shook his head.
"We found Watari in a bad mood while Matsu and I were out, so we brought him with us," Maki explained.
"And then we met these two outside the door." Matsu jabbed his thumb in the other two's direction.
"Interesting. I'll get to you two pairs in a minute. Watari comes first." I turned to face him. He just glared at me after an eyeroll of his own. "What got you upset?"
