Chapter 5

Miki pov

As I'm sitting here talking with Nala the guy Blue walks in and tells her Layla went for a ride with the Kace boy. I got off the chat and went to my fridge. I pulled out my black bottle and started drinking it. By the time I was done all of the liquid inside was gone. As I was putting the bottle in the sink my second phone started ringing.

"Yeah." I said answering it.

"Hey just got word from them. They want everyone back by the end of the year."

"Have they set everything thing up?"

"Yeah and they're ready for everyone."

"Ok I'll be at the meeting place by then." I said then hung up.

I sat down and started thinking. I sure miss home but part of me don't want to leave. I think about leaving Nala behind but she's like a sister. Seeing Layla was definitely a bonus. I wonder how she would feel if she went back with me. Of course she wouldn't. She would be afraid but then again she is strong and she's a fighter.

Laylas pov

When I walked in Blue was sitting in the living room playing my game.

"Where's Nala?"

"She had to go in. Don't worry little mama I made sure she made it safe."

"Thanks." I said as I sat down beside him.

"Anytime." He said stopping the game and putting the controller down before turning towards me. "So tell me what happened."

"What are you talking about?"

"I have known you what seven years now. So I can tell when something on your mind."

"Well.."

"Spill it."

"Well we drove out to the country. It was so nice and peaceful. As we were standing in a field enjoying the view it started to rain some. He wanted to go back. Me being me decided to get playful. He was chasing me and when he caught me and we fell. We stared at each other for a moment before he kissed me. I kissed back. Things started getting hot. Then..." I paused.

"It's ok."

"I messed it up Blue. I started having a flashback of Shawn. We stopped and now I think he's upset with me."

"No baby. What did he say?"

"Nothing. He said he was sorry that he shouldn't of tried to rush things. Then when we got back he said he needed to clear his head but he said he would wait for me."

"That's great sweetie. You've known Kace as long as you've known me. He's a sweet guy. He meant what he said. He's probably beating himself up right now for making you feel uncomfortable."

"Yeah I guess you're right."

"I always am." He said making us both laugh.

We played the game for awhile then there was a knock on the door before it opened.

"Why do I feel like everyone just comes in without waiting for someone to open the door?" I asked as the crew came in well everyone except Kace.

"Well it's because we're all family basically." Ryder said as he walked to the kitchen.

"So what's for dinner?" Andre asked.

"Don't y'all ever eat at home?"

"Yes we do but it's nothing like your cooking." Damon said which had everyone agreeing.
