Chapter 11

As I lay here I think about the alley. Who were those guys? Were they looking for me? Who would kill them? I'm ready to leave this city already. My thoughts were cut off by my phone ringing.

"Hey girl you up yet?" Trinity asked.

"Yeah I'm up."

"Want to go grab breakfast? "

"Sure give me about twenty and I'll be down."

After I got dressed I went down to meet Trinity, Nala, and Storm. We walked to a dinner three blocks down to get everyone something to eat.

"So how's the penthouse!" Storm asked.

"It's ok but I'm lonely. I miss you guys but after tomorrow we can finally go here home."

"I miss home." Nala said.

"I bet you do. When's the last time you chatted with you buddy?"

"We chatted for a bit before we left to come here. He hasn't been online. He said he was going to be out on business for a few days."

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that."

"I miss him. He's like a big brother to me."

"Who is he?" Trinity asked.

"I call him Miki but here let me show you what he looks like." Nala said pulling out her phone and typing. "Look."

"Oh my.." Storm said.

"He's hot." Trinity said.

"More like sexy." Storm said making me laugh.

They looked at me.

"What?"

"Have you seen him?" Storm asked.

"Yes I have seen him and talked to him actually."

"Then you can't say he's not."

"That's true I can't say he's not hot or sexy cuz that would be lying. But I can say for one I'm with Kace and two he's off limits. Do you girls honestly think any of us would have a shot with someone like him." No one said anything. "My point exactly."

We took the food back to the guys before getting ready for day two. At the end of the day we made it to the top 10. The top 10 groups were invited to a nice dinner by the sponsors. While we ate I kept feeling eyes on me yet again but looked around to see nothing. Afterwards we decided to go out dancing and drinking. We were having such a great time getting lit. After awhile I noticed I couldn't find Kace anywhere. I walked off the dance floor and walked around looking for him. I headed towards the back where I heard giggling. I turned the corner to see Kace against the wall while Sarah was pressed against him. They were kissing! I dropped my glass and Kace shoved her away. He looked over to see the shock and pain on my face.

"Layla it's not..."

I took off as he tried chasing after me while shouting my name. As I booked it out the doors the others stopped him. I started running parkour to make sure they didn't follow me. I just wanted to be left alone. I ran, climbed and jumped on stuff until I couldn't anymore. I walked to a park and sat down. My phone started buzzing so I reach in my front pocket and pulled it out.

I put my phone on silent and turned it over as I placed it down beside me. How could he do that. He said he would wait for me. I can't believe I thought he was different. He lied to me and played me. Maybe if I slept with him he wouldn't of cheated. It's my fault. No guy wants to be with a girl who won't put out after months on end. I sat there for awhile before heading back. I was maybe about ten blocks away when it started sprinkling. I wrapped my arms around myself and kept my head down as I walked. As it started getting harder a black SUV pulled up beside me.
