Chapter 9: The Archangel's Wrath

A/N: The picture above is Ruby, in her transformation! I couldn't get all six wings in there so I figured... As long as you know she has them, then it's fine. XD

I did my best, sadly I don't know how to draw her in side-view, I've never drawn her that way. So, this was my first-time ^^;

Rui's expression remained serious with a hint of anger on the face, she slowly looked over at Hisoka and Illumi then to her sister. She nodded to all three of them with her wings still in blinding motion, before she instantly vanished.

"Wait Rui, don't be so reckless!" Ruby outstretched her arm in the now empty space before her, with widened eyes. "Damn it, Rui!" She cursed out, lowered her rapier to the side, and flew after her with haste.

Hisoka walked up to the edge where the hole was and placed his hand was placed on the broken wall. Illumi came up beside him then flicked a few pins out, which were held by his fingers down close to his thigh. "You want to watch first, before stepping in, Illumi? I want to see what their full power is. I mean, aren't you interested in seeing Rui's full potential?~" He asked with amusement, before noticing Illumi stashing his pins away.

"Very well..." lllumi monotonously replied, keeping his usual blank stare on the twins and Mr. Kane, not noticing Hisoka wickedly grin after turning his attention toward the girls.

Ruby flew after her twin swiftly, desperately trying to catch up to her, though, moments later she had finally caught up and realized she was too late. She saw Rui fighting that monster with a serious face and so far, she hadn't been hit once cause if she did... Then all her emotion would've been gone, much like the fight at the heaven's arena. "Rui, hang on, I'm on my way!" She shouted out to Rui in the air with haste. The tip of her sword soon got directed at Saurus with her body straight and one leg bent against her stomach while her other arm stayed behind her.

Saurus flashed out of thin air to avoid Ruby's thrust. He reappeared afar from the twins which were high up just under the belly of the clouds. His bat wings flapped rapidly as his body began to morph; two more pairs of bat wings dispersed out of his back, his skin turned gray but his eyes remained as black as shining coal. A large, wicked grin grew on his lips once he fully transformed and chuckled to himself.

Rui and Ruby both quickly flew after him in mid-air. Ruby had her sword straight out while the other hand had an explosive light in her palm. Rui had her mantis claws extended with some Asian Giant Hornets tailing alongside her. Both the twins were side by side, charging after Saurus but only to have the big boss raise his arms up and vanish; he had reappeared between the girls within a split second, making them gasp and turn their heads in slow motion. The man dropped his arms down and thrashed both of the twin's heads, the force was strong enough to make them crash into the surface below and make a quake that would last for a short moment.

Dirt had flown in the air after they had crashed and showed Ruby gradually getting on all fours. She turned her head to see Rui doing the same except...blood had covered her face. Not from the impact...but from the hit she had gotten from Saurus. Ruby knew she was going to snap, her facial expression turned to a worried look with her mouth barely open, then rushed over to her.
