As we pull up to the house, I get really nervous about this lunch. This will be my first meal with these people. I look up at Demi and was surprised to see her already staring at me.

"You know we are all really happy about you being here. I know you don't think this will last long and it's just temporary but it's not. Mom, Dallas, Eddie, Maddie, and I knew the second we put our eyes on you that you're a part of this family. It's creepy how much we look alike. I know It will take you awhile to say it but I just wanted to let you know that we all love you and if you need anyone, I'm always here for you."

"Thanks Demi."

Once we arrived inside we were rushed to the table, where there where 7 plates with ham sandwiches, chips and some veggies. We all sat down and I slowly started to pick at my chips and veggies.

"Honey what's wrong? Why aren't you eating your sandwich?" Dianna sweetly asked. Once she said that everyone looked at me with a worried look on their faces.

"Nothing wrong, it's just that I don't eat meat. I'm a vegetarian." I answered quietly back.
"Oh I had no idea, or I would have made something else. Would you like me to make you something else dear?"

"No, its fine. I'm fine with some chips and these veggies."

"Are you sure? I feel so bad now. I will make sure to make things vegetarian too from now on."

"Yes I'm sure, and please I can make my own things. I can promise you that most the things I eat nobody at this table would like." I started. I eat most of the same things average Americans eat just without any types of meat. I mostly eat fruits and veggies.

"Okay." After that it was silent for most of the lunch. Few words were passed around from Dianna and Demi. They mostly asked about her new album and how her tour was. When they were all talking I was sitting there thinking to myself about my old life. What about my friends, do they know what happened? Before I knew it I was being shaken. I realized it was Eddie and stared and him.

"Hey are you okay?" he seemed pretty concerned.

"Oh uh yeah, I'm fine. I just spaced out for a second. I must have just run for too long. I think I just need a shower."I didn't wait for an answer and stood up and walked to the bathroom thats connected to the room they gave me. If you can tell I'm still not calling it mine. I don't think I will ever imagine it mine.

As I was standing in the shower under the scorching hot water, I was thinking about my mom. What was doing right then. What's she looking for me? Did she even want me anymore? I guess a lot of time passed because there was loud banging on the door and Demi was screaming my name. I just ignored her bellowing and finished up. When I was done I grabbed my clothing off the toilet and put on the clean clothes. When I opened the door I was bombarded with Demi and the rest of the family.

"Hey are you okay? You where in there for awhile." Demi said pretty concerned.

"Oh yeah I'm fine I just was thinking about some stuff."

"Oh okay...What where you thinking about?"

"It was nothing. I'm just tired so do you think I could go to bed?" I was far from tired at all. I just wanted to be alone. I wanted to call my friends.

As she was walking out I stopped her, "hey have you seen my phone anywhere. I wanted to call my best friend and I can seem to find it."
After I said that everything pretty much took a turn for the worst, she stood by my door, paled face and was wordless. It looked like she had seen a ghost and I didn't know why.
"Demi what's wrong?"
"Oh uh, ummmm how can I say this with out you getting upset..."
"Just spit it out!!"
"Wetookyourphonebecauseyoucanttalktoyiurfriendsforawhilebecauseshecouldcontactthemtotrytofindyiuandthefbidoesntwantthattohappen."
"WHAT! What do you mean you took my phone and I can't call my friends!?!?!"
"Just that Katie, it's for your own good" between all of my screaming and Demi trying to telling it's for my own good I attracted the whole family.
"What's going on girls?" Dianna stopped all commotion.
"You...you took my phone. Why... Why can't I talk to my friends?"
"Oh honey, it's okay, it's for your protection. I know you miss them. Maybe I can work something out with the FBI."
"No, that's not even your phone to take! I want it back!"
"Honey you know I can't do that. I don't even have it. Detective Dixon has is in evidence. I'm so sorry."
"When did you guys take it? How could they have it?"
"They have had it for awhile now. We can talk more later. You look like you need some rest. we will talk more later." And at that I laid down on the bed. All I heard after that was whispers of sleep tight, and sweet dreams and a few we love you.

Thank you guys so much for sticking with me through all the long waits. I have been having some physical issues going on. I was trying out for winter guard for my high school and I fell on concrete and had a concussion and hit my back and then after Christmas I injured my back again so bad that the doctor said that my back might be fractured. Let's just say it's been a rough few weeks but I'm getting better and I'm gonna start writing more frequently. I know I always say that but this time I mean it!

***I also want to start something new at the end of my chapters from now on too. I thought it would be really cool to get to know my readers and ask some questions. And you guys can comment some questions I will answer in the next chapter :D
