A few weeks passed and nothing changed. I kept to myself and they kept asking questions about what I like or random little things. I have given a few facts about myself though. I've told them about my boyfriend, which they went crazy about, but that's for another time. I told them about my friends. I just haven't told them about what I'm really like. Like my favorite color is lime green, or my favorite kind of music is classical. I can play parts of Beethoven's songs. I can sing. I'm not one of those girls who are afraid of singing when asked. I just don't flaunt it. I also haven't told them that I have a secret tattoo on my left rib cage. Its the moon phases in a small circle but small enough that my bathing suit covers most of it.
"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Its time to go!" Maddie and Demi rushed in and pounced on my bed.
"I don't wanna." I rolled over, stuffing my pillow on my face to block out the sounds.
"Fine, just know that you will pay." Maddie mumbled as she walked out. And just as I was half-way asleep my whole body was drenched with ice cold water. There was literally ice cubes in the water. I jumped out of the bed faster than a cheetah chasing after a piece of steak.
"WHAT THE HELL!!" I screeched, now pissed off
"Hey I warned you."
"what no you didn't. Now my bed is soaked."
" Hey look at the bright side..." She said cheekily
"What bright side, There is no bright side to be woken up at some ungodly hour in the morning by ice cold water."
"Well at least your clean, kind of."
"Whatever. Why did you have to wake me at this hour and your excuse better be good, or some cold water will be the least of your worries."
"It is the most amazing news in the world. Drum roll please." She smacked her hands on her thighs " We are going to the zoo!!!!" I just looked at her with a 'what the fuck' look.
"That's it!!! The zoo!!! You poured ice cold water on me, woke me up at..." I looked over at my clock "8:00 am to tell me we are going to the zoo!"
"Well yeah, get ready, were leaving in an hour." Then she left. I groaned and reluctantly got out of bed.
After a really short shower and quickly trying to put on my makeup, i was ready for the day. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. The whole family was seated at the kitchen table and as I walked in they all were staring at me.
"uh hi." I awkwardly stated.
"Hey honey are you ready to go?" Dianna said in a motherly tone as i make myself a bowl of fruits and a piece of toast.
"Yeah I'm ready"
An hour later, we arrived at the nearest zoo. The first thing I noticed was the potent smell. The mixture of different foods, animal poop, people in general. Its gross. We walked through the gates as Eddie paid and Maddie pulled us to the giraffe exhibit. This is gonna be one long, hot day....

Thank you guys so much for reading this. I know its been a long wait but I finished my last final exam for sophomore year! YAY! I'm so happy that's over. Anyway this also means i will start updating more often hopefully. Its been so exciting to see all of you guys vote and comment on this. I started this book about a year ago and i never expected the out come to turn out like this.
