I walked into the station with the police officer, who which i learned was named Jamie, was right behind me holding my arm. They took mug shots and my fingerprints .She then put me in a cell, which was empty, thank god. I was not about to spend the night in a dirty cell with some kind of criminal.

Hours past and I was awoken by the sound off the doors opening. I slowly got off the bench and made my way out of the cell looking at this young lady.

"Why can't I just go home. Let me pay whatever fine I have too. I'll be back on my court date... Just let me please leave." I pleaded

"Kaitlyn...sorry Katie. Please just listen. It's not that simple. This has nothing to do with tonight. We have decided not to charge you under this situation."

"What situation?"

"I'm gonna be really straight forward with you. Okay..." I just nodded " Your family is not really your family. You were kidnapped at the age of three. Taken from the local mall and moved here."
