Lost and Found

Chapter 4

As i sat here trying to process the words that just came out of this ladies mouth, another women joined her. She quietly sat down and took out a folder then looked at me.

"Hello my name is Ms. Jennifer Dixon, but you can call me Jennifer, im with the FBI. Does the name Riley ring a bell by any chance?" She asked

"No and i just want to go home. I dont know what you guys are talking about, my mom would never do something like this. There has to be a mistake." I said

"Im sorry Katie but its not a mistake, your finger prints are in the missing persons database. You were apparently kidnapped from a local mall in Dallas, Texas when you were 3. Your real family has been contacted and wants to see you." Jenny sated. i just stared at her with wide eyes.

"NO!!" i yelled and they were both suprized at my outburst. "i dont want to go anywhere but home. just take me home."

"im sorry Katie but we cant let you go back to your kidnapper. Thats against the law. Your real parents are already here. I will go get them." she said as she went to open the door.

"No im not read---" i was cut off by this lady and 2 younger people.

"Oh my god its really you. Riley you are all grown up. Do you remeber anything about us?" she rambled on but i cut her short.

"Stop it okay... First of all, get your panties out of twist. Second of all, no i dont remeber anything and all i know this could be some kind of government kidnapping and last, my name is NOT Riley its KATIE!' i told her. she just stared me and smiled sympathetically towards me.

"Okay, well i quess we could call you katie... Um can we take her home now or what?" she said the first part to me and the last to Jenny and Karen.

"Um i guess you can." Karen said unsure of my reaction. i glared at her and turned to the women and im guessing her other daughters,that i have yet to know the name of.

"whats your name first of all. And im stil confused on why i cant go back to my old life?" i said to the strange women and Jenny.

" we already told you Katie we cant let you go live with a criminal. That women kidnapped you and its illegal to let you go back." Jenny said

"oh and Im Dianna and this is Dallas and Madison. Demi is at home getting it ready.Demi is acually your twin sister but i told her just say home and wait. I just figured another person here would just add some more un nessesary stress on you." Dianna said and i just shrugged my shoulder.

I apparently couldnt go back to my house to even get some clothes or any kind of memories i have of my old life. i couldnt even say goodbye to my boyfriend or my bestfried. I am literally being dragged onto this plane agianst my will. I sat in the seat next to the window and pulled out my headphones and ipod and basted my music just ingnoring the whole world. The whole freaking universe i against me i swear. I looked out the window and took it all in. I am no longer with my mom, my best friend, or anyone i knew. I just sat there numb. i couldnt believe this. My own mother lied to me for 13 years. My life just literally turned upside down.
