Lost and Found

Chapter 14

We had arrived back at the house around 10pm. I went straight to my room and took a quick shower and was out like a light once my head hit the pillow.

I woke up to my alarm. 7:00am. Ugh. Diana is making me go to school. She had told me a few days ago and I have been dreading it.

Once I finally got out of bed, I brushed my hair, did my makeup, which consisted of some foundation, eyeliner and mascara. I put on some dark skinny jeans, a loose white shirt, and cute infinity necklace and some tall brown boots.

As I walked down the stairs, a wafting smell of bacon and eggs consumed the whole down stairs. Eddie was cooking bacon and Diana was cooking the eggs. I walked into the kitchen and all heads turned to me.

"Hey" I awkwardly said

"Hey, how did you sleep. Today is the big day!!"

"I slept fine, and don't remind me." They all chuckled at my attitude towards school. School was fine, actually school was amazing! It was my favorite thing besides my friends or boyfriend. School had always come easy to me. It was the fact that I was going to a new school, not knowing anyone or even seeing the school at all. It was the fact that they made the choice of sending me to school without even telling me at least a week ahead of time. I had just gotten here 2 weeks ago. Like what the hell.

"Hey schools not that bad" Demi tries to reassure

"I know that, it's just I don't know anyone there."

"Hey I go to your school!"Maddie piped in joyfully.

"Okay. I guess that helps, a little." I grumble

"I can even help you to your classes and I can even introduce you to some of my friends."

"Okay, yeah that sounds good."

"Well girls, here's breakfast." Diana said as she places two plates in front of Maddie and I. We ate in silence. It only took a few minutes but it felt like forever. Once we were done we got our things together and headed to the car. Demi was driving us today. Once we made it to our destination we got out and said bye to Demi.

I slowly hurled my book bag over my shoulder and walked inside. I quickly found the front office, with Maddie's help of course, and got my schedule.

"Hi I'm here to get my schedule, it's my first day today."

"Name please"

"Katie Jackson" She started to type but the she started shaking her head.

" I'm sorry, there's no one under that name here. Maybe something else?"

"That's my name. Try putting Katie Lovato." She typed that and again she shook her head.

" the only other Lovato I have in here is Riley." Once she said that my face paled and I began to fine with anger. I specifically told them I don't go by that name. I go by Katie or Kaitlyn.

"Yeah that's me." I snapped and her face showed shock in my sudden attitude change.

"Uh, okay here you go. Your first class is mrs. Wa-" I walked out before she could finish her sentence. Perfect. my life just went from bad, to worse to hell in just a few hours. First I had to wake up at an ungodly hour, I have to come here and now my name has been changed. I just can't wait to get back home and completely go off the deep end. Sweet, sweet revenge.

An: I'm am so sorry a it's been so long. I've been so busy I've nearly been home. I've been so busy with speech&debate and softball! I have a tournament 4 hours away so I'll have time on a bus to write more this weekend! I'm sorry I promised to update more but I'll update as soon and I can!
