{one: in which they have their first encounter}***
Reagan traveled along the UCLA grounds heading to her next class, books in hand as she walked along the paths on the warm november afternoon.
"Hey!" someone called out catching the girls attention, turning her shoulder she saw a familiar face walk up to her. "You just made everyone look at me," Reagan huffed looking at her slightly taller friend.
"It's not my fault," the girl laughed nudging her slightly. "You have Professor Campback right?" her friend asked, "yes Emilia just like I do every Tuesday, and Thursday for the past three months."
"Then I will see you later I have Hernandez," the girl walked away, waving as she left.
A slight wind passed, pushing Reagan's hair in her face, she quickly swatted it away and continued forward heading to her last lecture of the day. The halls were crowded, and not to her liking as she quickly moved forward, ignoring everyone that came in her path.
Reaching the large doors that lead into the room, she looked around to see if anyone was in the class yet. She sighed looking around as the lecture hall was completely filled.
She straightened her back, heading in. Most of the eyes in the room quickly landed on her as she rushed down the steps trying to find an empty seat.
Looking around she saw two seats, one next to a boy with a beanie, and a hoodie, she's heard him talk a few times. The other next to a couple that seemed to be getting too touchy during a lecture.
With her choices she quickly walked over to the boy, smiling at him slightly, he smiled back, his lips closed.
"Well good afternoon Miss.Ramirez happy you decided to show up," the professor turned away from the smart board and looked up at girl who was shuffling through Economic notes.
"Sorry professor, the halls were so crowded," her face flushed in a slight embarrassment. "If you say so," he chuckled slightly turning back to the board.
"Well everyone take out your pens, we are writing today," she heard a slight groan from the boy next to her as she shuffled through her bag.
"Today we are learning about the reasoning behind economics, and what you can learn through them."
"Sir, economics are basically business and government given policies," the boy next to her said aloud, she turned to him.
"Actually they are more of a social science, but that is a common misconception," Reagan spoke up, she watched as the boys eyes widened slightly before he looked back to the professor.
"Yes correct Miss.Ramirez, Alex I thought you would have known that," the professor teased, Alex only pouted in response as the class fell into a small fit of laughter.
Alex only began to tap his pen against his paper as he got to work on the notes in front of him.

The rest of the class the two only shared looks, Alex not answering anymore questions as Reagan kept her eyes on her notes, occasionally glancing at the boy next to her.
"Okay everyone is dismissed have a wonderful afternoon," the professor turned off the smart board and the hall immediately filled with shuffling as the students all headed out.
"Miss.Ramirez, good work today glad to see you know economics maybe you can even tutor Mr.Vera," he looked up at Alex.
"No that wont be necessary sir, I got one question wrong," Alex looked up at him, almost scolding him. "I'm just trying to help my favorite student," Reagan's eyes widened as the two shared a laugh.
