The next day when we got to school, Reid was standing at the entrance looking worried and scared. Zayden was nowhere to be seen.

We blinked.

"Reid?" We approached him.

He looked at me. "Have you heard from Zayden?"

I frowned and shook my head.

"What's going on?"  Faine.

"He said he was going to hang out with a friend last friday after classes. No one has heard from him since." Reid.

Our eyes widened.

"Wait you didn't meet him at the gate after school last Friday?" My frown deepened.

He also frowned and shook my head.

So that wasn't Reid? Arrax asked alarmed.

"How about your pack members?" Falynn.

"They're looking for him but no one has found anything yet." He answered.

I bit my lips.

"Do you have any clues as to where he might have gone?" I asked Reid.

He shook his head. "That's the main reason why we haven't found him yet. I tried asking him where he was going but he blocked me. I haven't been able to reach him after that."

It's not going to easy finding him without any clues whatsoever....

I could feel my anxiety increasing.

The other two were also really worried.

Hey what's going on? Why are you guys so anxious? Mom suddenly reached out to us.

Zayden is missing. No one has heard from him since last Friday. Falynn replied.

Suddenly he appeared behind us.

Reid looked at him wide eyed.

"What happened to Zayden?" He looked directly at Reid.

"Um... You're...." Reid asked confused.

"Our mom." Faine clarified.

I could tell he was shocked but before he could say anything mom spoke up again.

"Explain the situation to me."

"Well... He said he was going to hang out with a friend last Friday. He hasn't come home since then. We've tried reaching him through the mindlink but something is blocking us." Reid explained to him.

"Have you found any clues at all as to where he might have gone?" Mom.

Reid shook his head.

"Do you know who might want to hurt him?" Mom.

Reid thought deeply.

"There's one.... But we had already warned him to stay away..." He frowned.

Mom went upto him.

"Is he blocking the link by himself or is it something else?"

"It's something else. It's not him." Reid.

"Ok. Give me your hand." Mom extended his hand.

Reid blinked and glanced at Faine.

He nodded reassuringly.

Reid slowly gave his hand.

Suddenly mana swirled around him.

Is he trying to destroy whatever is blocking the link? Arrax.
