"And you never bothered to tell us?" I frowned.

Faine and Archer were sitting on the bed with their head hung low.

"What did we say about hiding things?" Falynn asked.

"Don't... hide..." Faine muttered.

"And yet you hid the fact that Archer's dreamworld had turned into a literal death scene?" I growled.

They bit their lips.

It's my fault... I didn't want to tell anyone... It's not Faine's fault... Archer spoke up.

We looked at him.

"Why did you not want to tell anyone?" Falynn asked.

I... Didn't want to be hated... He bit his lips.

We frowned.

"Why would we hate you?" Falynn.

He thought his dreamworld looked like that because of something he did. Aura sighed.

"Why did you think it looked like that because of something you did?" I asked.

I don't know... I couldn't think of any other reason at the time... He sighed.

We also sighed and shook our heads.

So he was just overthinking and got too insecure. Arrax.

I nodded.

"So what happened after that?" Falynn asked.

They looked at us.

"Don't play dumb. I'm damn sure it wouldn't have ended with you guys just worrying about why Aeolus died." I added.

"Well... It's going be a bit hard to believe..." Faine scratched his head.

We blinked.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Another god appeared..." He looked at us.

"Which god?" Falynn asked before I could say anything.

"Thanatos. He said he's death itself." Faine.

Our jaws dropped low.

"Why did he appear? Was it because of Aeolus's death?" I asked.

He nodded. "He said Aeolus had requested him to remove the darkness from Archer's dreamworld."

We raised our eyebrows.

We've been studying about different gods ever since mom told us about us being half-god.

And as far as we know, the gods of the elements don't get along with gods who are associated with the dead.

Of course, what we read could be wrong. But it would make sense.

And if it is true, then just how much are we adored by them for them to go out of their way to make requests from other gods they don't even get along with?

We all jumped when the door suddenly slammed open.

Kai was standing there in his human form glaring at Archer.

We gulped.

He looks so mad...

He stomped over to Archer and pulled his ears.

The fuck is this I'm hearing huh? You hid such an important thing for a whole week? He growled.

Archer whined. I'm sorryyyyyy...
